I ordered the same eBay TPMS from the same seller and also cannot get my car to recognize the sensors.
Did you get all the honks?
I bought sensors from this seller twice before and never had problems.

RKTFiST I am deeply sorry but I bought and recommended these sensors from the wrong vendor :(
The vendor I bought my last sensors from were from seller "metro24wholesale-2009" I dont know why I thought it was "666parts".
Both vendors sell part number "9L3T-1A180-BB" accept that the 666parts sensors say "9L3T1A180BB DE8T1A150AA TPMS12"

I shouldve looked into my purchase history to find the correct seller. I humbly apologize for misleading. I sent them a message about our problem and will let you know what they say.

The DE8T1A150AA part number might explain it. I believe that part number corresponds to another Ford TPMS. Thanks guys for being the Guinea pigs! It at least saved me from encountering this issue. I spent big monies to buy the kit from Tire Rack. That little light is an expensive SOB...

My belief is those sensors cover the mount and balance but they dont tell you that to make it seem like its free. $80 mount and balance plus $48 tmps =$128. But at least you got what you paid for.

No honks from any of them. I know my trigger tool works as I was able to re-sync my factory TPMS sensors on the original wheels without an issue.

No worries; if someone else can avoid making the same mistake, that is the key. These steelies are incredibly heavy, anyway, so when I have more cash free in the spring, I'll probably sell the wheels with the TPMS on craigslist and someone will get a nice deal so I can upgrade.

Actually, the price for the sensors is really reasonable. It's a Schrader TPMS sensor, PN 20315. It's essentially a direct OEM replacement, made in the UK and look exactly like the OEM Motorcraft ones. $32 each from TireRack vs $42 at RockAuto or anywhere else I searched for it.

What I don't like though, as part of the TPMS package, they sell you an "optional" $20 chrome metal valve kit (essentially the valve, sensor screw and chrome cap). Oh well, I guess I just bought the TPMS "rebuild" kit upfront.

so do these wheels fit? I need snow tires like yesterday, and tire rack has their usual steel wheel shortage.
