Same here, as I just took delivery a week ago, and have yet to get; a set of summer and winter wheels/tires, CP-E, or DHM Race ICs, and the FULL boomba short shift kit (I CANNOT STAND how long and mushy these throws are!!!), CP-E or DHM 3" exhaust, and possibly aftermarket seats BEFORE I throw any more actual power at this thing.

I guess I will have to start a C39 labelled savings account just to get this setup (and a Wavetrac/Quaife as well). LOL

About how much extra is that Turbo X coating, and what makes it any better than the Swain/etc. coatings??

Ceramic coating has been around for a long, long, long time. The benefits are proven. It's not a platform to platform thing.

No worries man, I didn't read it and interpret to be douchey. What I'm saying is that there is a difference between an actual benefit that provides consistent real world gains vs. a drop of like 1 degree IAT's because the turbocharger is isolating heat better. Both are benefits, but you are never going to see or feel 1 degree of difference. So I need something real, not just anecdotal evidence from another platform. The question is not whether its beneficial, it's whether it is worth anything on our tiny turbo's running not a lot of boost etc.

Coating we can do that's not a prob. Port we won't do. I don't think there is any cut and dry worth in the porting. But if someone wanted to purchase our ST280 package with brian's C39 turbo we could have him port it before hand.
