Was using XXR 527's in 17x7.5 et 40. Tires Kumho Ecsta LE 215/40/17. Now on Advanti Racing Storm S1 17x8 et 45 on same tires.

Look up Turbo X coatings. It keeps the temps in your turbo making it more efficient and reduces under hood temps.

While it does look sexy, without any real data to back it up on our platform (which is going to be much different from the huge turbo guys that run that coating) I'm not sure if I can justify spending the extra just yet on the coating.

Also do you have any info on after group-buy pricing for the C39? I'm looking to buy one, but considering I just bought my Fiesta today along with BC racing coilovers, Depo IC, Cobb AP3, a Deadhook tune, and a Depo DP I figured I should probably wait a bit before I spent more money lol.

Ceramic coating has been around for a long, long, long time. The benefits are proven. It's not a platform to platform thing.

Same here, as I just took delivery a week ago, and have yet to get; a set of summer and winter wheels/tires, CP-E, or DHM Race ICs, and the FULL boomba short shift kit (I CANNOT STAND how long and mushy these throws are!!!), CP-E or DHM 3" exhaust, and possibly aftermarket seats BEFORE I throw any more actual power at this thing.

I guess I will have to start a C39 labelled savings account just to get this setup (and a Wavetrac/Quaife as well). LOL

About how much extra is that Turbo X coating, and what makes it any better than the Swain/etc. coatings??
