I was expecting a more ringing endorsement than "it's decent". Tough crowd[hihi]
Lmao, it's an animal. We just haven't let it out of it's cage. I'm super excited about it, just don't want to show it until I have the tune done. She spools fast, holds to red line and wants to keep going. You'll be more than pleased

Lol it's an excellent setup. I love everything about it so far..spool time, pull, my DHM intercooler seems to keep up with it right now. And there is zero spike like the stock setup. Can't forget that spooling noise. That's another selling point in itself, nevermind dealing with Sourskittle. Service is top notch, and always willing to share information to assist and point you in the right direction. Mind you this is a quick "update/review" I'll have a full post in my build forum later on when we get the tune squared away

I was just busting your chops. I already have a Cyborg, so I'll be able to chime in for those thinking about upgrading. Enjoy the ride[twothumb]

That's great for more information. I'll be very interested in seeing the difference from the original to this. I went from stock to it. So it's kind of hard to explain because obviously it's better in all areas lol.

So if I were to grab a Cyborg 39, is it compatible with stock intercooler piping and intake? I have a Mishimoto intake but does an intake meant for the stock turbo inlet still fit on the Cyborg 39?

And do many other companies provide tuning options? Like could I tell Stratified Auto I have the Cyborg turbo and they could send me a tune for that? This seems like a great option without blowing a couple grand into a new turbo setup.

Yes, to all. Lol it will work with everything. Intake wise Sourskittle inlet is just a larger bore to match the inlet size. But everything will fit. After all it is a stock housing. As far as tuning goes, it's still considered an "aftermarket turbo" most tuners charge a little more because it requires some extra work but will still tune no problem. I currently have DeadHook tuning mine

It bolts on 100% like stock.
You can use your stock intercooler, but I highly recommend you upgrade it.
Tuning wise, any one our resident forum tuners can send you a base tune and will improve on that via email tunes :)
Your mishimoto intake will fit perfect :)

I'm currently running a Cyborg with a Mishimoto intake. Fits like a glove.

So the original cyborg delivered a peak power of somewhere in the mid 200's depending on set up, what sort of figures are you expecting to see with the 2nd release? I won't hold your feet to the fire just curious where you think it'll end up.

This is what has been widely uncontested by everyone, as X37 known and proven results. The larger compressor wheel of the cyborg should add 10-25whp to those results.

So if you made 655whp with a X37, you would make 665-680whp with a cyborg39 :)

Time will tell. The first few cyborg 39's are shipped and being tuned

I applaud those who are willing to invest before seeing data. I suppose the risk is about as small as it gets with a guy like SourSkittle though...
