Two other things for you to think about...

#1 if you or anyone else wants one, we can build a X37 in the same time it takes to build a cyborg39.

#2 We use OEM ford/Borg Warner bearings housings. Ever see those Garrett GT35 turbos on eBay that at $350 for a Garrett turbo that normally cost $1500 ? It's all "aftermarket parts".

This is a OEM core bearing housing (SiestaRider's actually ). Oil feed hole.

This is a bearing housing from an X37. Notice... No casting numbers ? That's because it's built from an "aftermarket bearing housing".
Lol I knew where you were heading with the pictures......Love my cyborg so far.

Cyborg Upgraded Stock Turbocharger System

I never stop working, but the truth is, sooner or later the turbine housing is going to prevent use from making more power, no matter the turbo.

That being said... I'm never done. Be really.... Nearly stock spool up, 300-330whp capability ( the wheel can do it, but can the engine/fuel/balls do it? ). Even if most end up around 300whp with good weather and good fuel, can you really ask for much for $1300 and a stock style turbo on a 1.6L ?
2.4L srt4's don't walk right into 300whp with the turbo.
2.0L focus's pretty much can't get to 300whp without everyone questioning it ( I personally don't care ).
So if we can retain 90% stock drivability, save tires, pro-long clutch and driveline life and make 300whp give or take all for a $1300 entry fee...
If there really more ?

DHM makes some awesome kits for people at sea level wanting more than 300whp.

But I never ever say never.

OK, THANK YOU, and I appreciate that, and I WILL go cyborg if/when I ever do a hybrid setup, because I am not so sure that I, myself can 'handle' over 300 to/through the front wheels of this car! [thumb]

In for my share of the royalties for unauthorized use of my Cyborg casting pic in exposing false or misleading advertising. Wait, that make no sense. Ok, in for tuning the next Cyborg version at my expense. Wait, that makes even less sense. OK, In for whatever happens next, this is fun. Now that is worth the price.

I am highly considering this as the very costly "upgrade" from a laggy EFR to a GT2560R with billet wheel, ext WG, BOV, WMI is making less HP and less torque at 4200 ft than the EFR did at 5200 ft elevation, lag is barely better but the torque loss in the mid band makes the car significantly slower there.

The DHM kit is great at lower altitudes but just not cutting it here, anybody want to help fund the swap to a C39 or ....?

You've decided to keep your car? [dunno]

I can attest the quality of the x37 is very poor, also the support from my seller was very poor. I would have gone this way if I had not followed every dick and Jane and got the x37. Excited to see where the results turbo out to be.

The big thing for me is that it seems to take so long after ordering for them to fill the orders as it has to come overseas. I want to see spool data on the Cyborg39, if it's solid then I think this hybrid is going to be the one to beat for sure

I have been treated a great deal better by Adam, and SS, than another vendor on this site;)

I am highly likely to not keep the car but I want to sell it setup properly for the new owner unless they want to tackle the issue but somebody at low altitude would probably be happy with it as it is just tuned for it better.

I wouldn't be Hasty just cuz I want a turbo, I would get the right one , even if it took longer.

What? Really??
100% it wasn't the prettiest piece and also it had a leak that I was left on my own to fix..

Yes, Adam sucks. The more you deal with him, the quicker you'll find out
Oh don't get me started, he was so hard to deal with that I was happy to count my loses and walk away and I'm happy I did, dealing with Alex@Stratified and OMG what a difference!
