Im surprised that these times arent faster, i was always under the impression that 12s were possible on the hybrid turbos and 13's were achievable with stage 3 pro tunes

Gotta realize, none of those cars are on slicks.
Can't speak for the other guys, but with my MPH, it's a 12.6-12.8-12.9 car pretty easy. And that was back when the car was making 233whp on a dyno jet ( before a lot of mods ).

1/4 mile times are one thing, and there are a lot of variables. 1)driver skill, 2)Tires, 3)track conditions, 4)etc. Trap speed will always give you a better indication of how fast a car is. You can have someone clock a 12.9 with a 104mph trap speed and a 13.3 with a 106mph trap speed. Which do you think is the faster car? I suck at drag racing so I'm more concerned with trap speed as an indication of power.

We have a family friend over here that races his camero on multiple tracks. I'll have to hook up with him and try my hand at some drag once I'm finished with all my modifications. I'll be on much better tires than OEM but definitely not buying slicks as this is a DD and once a month or so track car.

Does he road race it on "multiple tracks", or does he go to multiple drag strips with it, or BOTH??

Which f body is it, what engine/mods (there are 6 generations/50 years worth of them!!)?
"I usually race in Meschede, Alkersleben, Hockenheim, and Flugplatblasen. Next year I will go to both German Race wars races also. When will the turbo be finished? The next race is 16 OCT - Flugplatzblasen Aalen Elchingen One day race that is a lot of fun."
This was a quote from his last reply on facebook. I believe he drives a 2010 Camaro SS.

Good stuff man. I'll be the one to say what everyone is thinking: I want to see how it compares to the X37 in the real world. Seems like a killer option if it's comparable.
The turbine design is much much better suited to the cyborg compressor wheel than the stock turbine.

That could very well be, but I'll hold out until we get some solid data. Keep up the good work
Two other things for you to think about...

#1 if you or anyone else wants one, we can build a X37 in the same time it takes to build a cyborg39.

#2 We use OEM ford/Borg Warner bearings housings. Ever see those Garrett GT35 turbos on eBay that at $350 for a Garrett turbo that normally cost $1500 ? It's all "aftermarket parts".

This is a OEM core bearing housing (SiestaRider's actually ). Oil feed hole.

This is a bearing housing from an X37. Notice... No casting numbers ? That's because it's built from an "aftermarket bearing housing".

shot across the bow! lol but could that be because they use a "Motorsport Heavy Duty thrust bearing"?

Either way, can't wait to see the numbers fellas. on paper, this looks like it may be the new top dog.
