I have dropped just the subframes, subframe and engine up front, diff in the rear, all suspesnion still installed, whole chassis, etc on C5 and C6 Vettes, really damn cool but a lift is far better for any of that work. Nice to not have to drain coolers, etc.....:)

If the AC condenser is not to hard to work loose, I do not recall exactly when I did the DIY radiator upgrade, it might be pretty easy to drop the whole front of the car, coolers attached to radiator support or not, suspension, engine and transaxle...

I recently dropped the subframe to install steering rack bushings, it was pretty easy but getting it back in place by myself working on the floor, sold the lift when I sold the house/shop, was a bit of a pain.

The un-used tunes on the hot pipe and cold pipe will be shortened and capped/welded shut, but with a
Nipple in the middle for
Boost reference.

The half plastic, half rubber hose running over the top of the timing belt cover and in to the expansion tank can crack very easily at the plastic end.

Ford makes an all rubber replacement and it is pretty cheap. The rubber can't crack so I think it is a good upgrade.

If you are buying parts, order one of those to avoid extra shipping at some later date.

My little catch can project ;)

Waiting on cylinder head mating surface cleaner/prep, and a $500 torque wrench, lol.

And now... Its time for fiestaforums favor game called.....!!!! "Learn from Sourskittles mistakes" !!!

Don't be a jack ass and put a single direction ratcheting wench into the cv axle stay. Because it won't come out. And the stay is actually slotted so you only need to loosen a little for the stay to come out.

You maybe wondering....

"Skittle.... Why the hell are you taking the cv axle stay off ? That has nothing to do with the cylinder".

And you'd be 1000% correct.

BUT. Some POS jack whole at ford put the blanking hole that that set the engine to TDC BEHIND THW CV AXLE BRACE !!! And since this engine has ZERO timing key alinement points,
Its 100% required to use the hole in the back of the block with the special tool to make sure its at 1,001% TDC when the pulleys are torqued down.

Hope you learned something besides how dumb I am :)

This confirms the head cracked in the identical way the escape did that caused the escape to burn down
