I have read about that as well in Moto IQ I think. Although if I remember correctly that was for NA engines. I think when it comes to forced induction you would want the bigger ports. But I can totally understand the feeling of just wanting your car back. But I am excited to see you making progress once again
In my research for porting the head, I found that motorcycle ( real ones, GSX-R's, R1's, CBR-RR's, ZX6R's ) were going as far as JB-welding the ports SMALLER, and re-porting them smooth to bring up velocity. Also read surface castings wasn't a game changer and I also plan to run fuel through the intake ports which made polishing the runners pointless too...
It all added up to "F-it, I'm tired of driving my Lexus everyday, I want my car back ".
