No Adam is. This is not my car it belongs to RobK. I helped him install the turbo and have been helping with tuning and setup. I'm trading my focus in a couple weeks and will be doing a GT2560 set up.It has a lot more in it. We are going to add a little preload to the wastegate actuator so we can add boost. This is was done on 22 psi
Wow...And this was accomplished with stock manifold and only 22psi... very nice indeed...

thanks for posting....

Yeah it'll make more and after we get the kinks out then it's on to E30 then E40. The car will be dynoed also after all is said and done.

Does RobK have a build thread posted here on the forum where we can follow the progress made?

I dont think so. He's a pretty quiet and humble guy. I'll text him and tell him to respond
This car has a custom recirc setup also. RobK put a lot of thought in his setup.
I can respect that but there are a number of folks here on the forum very interested in this similar setup...I think it would be helpful if either you or RobK could setup a thread specific to this topic such that we all can follow ...

Also we don't want to derail the OP's original topic here...

thanks again RobK STeve Tune+

great work guys!

Yes I will make a thread, but I believe this graph was already on E30, we have made multiple revisions since.
Once again Adam has been doing a great job Tune+

Thank you for the complement Rob! Car is coming along nicely but the included IWG actuator is showing signs of weakness. See what you can do, and we can get some more boost up top. Also there is no reason to go beyond E30, I can already max out timing on E30, the extra ethanol will just put strain on the factory fuel system and we need as much as we can get.

The Cyborgs hold boost pretty well but don't move a lot of air. I'm going to guess the Cyborg has a limit to about 260-270whp maxed out, but can't prove that until I get one on the dyno. It responds well and works well for sure!

The torque curve is definitely longer and flatter, no boost spikes for sure...

I'm still the only cyborg owner with meth injection. I also did those numbers in Jan or Dec or Feb, not In the fall.
The cyborg def is what it is. Its always going to be a challenge to makes high end power and low end power with a 1.6L. If you need 300whp on pump gas or even 250whp on straight up 93oct, a turbo with a little more lag, double the price, and some bragging rights is prob a better option.

If your willing to run some E40/E50 mixes and Meth injection, then 270whp should be very obtainable with a good tuner. I had a ton of 275whp area V-dynos, and a couple with more then 280whp. But if your not putting the car on a scale instead of guessing, and not willing to run Meth/Eth mixes, then figure about 240-255whp tops on pump gas. Because its natural struggle to move air past the turbine, when the weather drops, its really wakes up. 233whp on the dyno jet, and 235whp on the V-dyno and the car went 13.3 on crappy cheap tires (then broke an axle ). On a 270whp tune on slicks that's a 12sec all day, all night. If you need more, def plenty of other options, but I'd suggest just buying a focus or srt4 or mazdaspeed3 if your really just that focused on drag strip only times.

I didn't want to mess with WMI, I've had problems before, siphoning/leaking water out the nozzle caused hydro lock on my cummins, never again. I'm still hoping that with the aux fueling that I can get away with using it in the same matter, we'll see, haven't given up. Like Adam said, the altitude here is holding back MY numbers, he had to reduce the boost because I was getting a mid-rev stumble/miss that wouldn't go away on higher boost levels. If it's just blowing hot air at 26+psi then the aux fueling should help to cool it (hoping), we'll see when I get the kit from DHM...

When you get it installed let me know!

You should be able to use E40-E50 without running out of fuel, depending on the outside temps. On a cold day, E50 may not be good, but I never ran out of fuel on E40.
On pump gas, I don't see over 26psi almost ever. If I do, its for a milli-second. Its don't love that much boost on pump gas.
I am a little supprised Dusty's isn't doing a little better with intake temps though because he has the race cooler. Its like 50% bigger than my threadstone core.

I don't have any experience with elevation stuff, so I can't say how much it will or won't effect things.

People also seem to be forgetting that peak numbers never was the point of this upgrade. Start to look at stock turbo numbers at 5000 to 6500 vs a cyborg setup. Driving the car is pretty different. Its like going from driving a really good TDi to what the fist should have been from the factory.

anything new regarding the setup or everything still the same
I'm currently away from home and haven't added the aux fuel kit yet. But like Sourskittles and +Tune mentioned, I'm not running out of fuel yet. I had been trying to upload an image of my V-dyno with the cyborg but having too much trouble. The last V-dyno was 246whp and 261wtq. I do recall seeing 200 wtq come in around 2500 rpms, over 250 wtq from about 3300 rpms to 4600 rpm, then fading back to 200 wtq to 6500 rpms...

Those are some promising numbers, pretty much where i'd want to be with the car for what I want to do with it. Skittle you still offering the manifold and turbo exchange?

Yes sir, I still do core exchanges. $400 fully refundable core charges for everything :)
Keep in mind, Dusty is running the external wastegate setup (currently building the second one right now ).
PM me if you have any questions, and I'll give you my personal phone number :)
