I'm going to rep Sourskittle here not because my kp39 is for sale (lol), but because I strapped a gtx2860r to my fiesta and regretted it as I was only making 280 whp on stock fuel (11.8 AFR) and the spool time was 4,500 rpm. If you can hit 280 whp with wmi and a cyborg upgraded turbo to keep the stock spool on the fiesta it's completely worth it. His fiesta was trapping 104 mph and my gtx2860r @280 whp trapped 103 mph. I'm now rolling in a 2015 focus st which goes stage 3 next week. I debating if I should get rid of the k03, but the gtx2867r is pretty responsive on the focus or so I hear.

Note my 11.8 AFR as I live in SA, TX and it gets to over 100 degress outside, better to be safe than sorry :p

For some reason my enthusiasm for stock turbo "enhancements" exceeds my desire for a larger turbo housing. I eagerly await the external WG results with the cyborg. SS has my core but the plan for it keeps changing as this thread evolves. Whoo Hoo! this is fun!
I'm eagerly waiting to post numbers too! Everything is installed but I'm waiting on the custom dump pipe to get welded to the exhaust pipe (around where the factory resonator was located). I want it all to look stock so as not to fail visual tech or emissions so I told him to take his time to ensure a clean, stock look. I have the CP-E 3" Nexus TBE with the resonator and satin finish so he'll be coating the dump tube to get the same finish/coating for a factory, uniform look. I'm just going to have it tuned on E40 so I'd expect a little lower numbers until I can get Stratified Auto/MAPerformance aux fuel system (then go straight E85). Our altitude is higher here in El Paso and the heat is ridiculous so I'm sure I'll be installing water/meth just to control inlet temps...

The Cp-E stuff isn't coated but rather material blasted to give it that finish.

Fate is kind, and so are you to post this.

I was about to install a Vibrant straight through muffler on my MBRP 3" and could not decide whether to cut out their resonator and put my Vibrant in its place (relocated from current muffler position) or just cut the MBRP out and try the new Vibrant muffler only. Just in case, think I will cut the MBRP resonator out and leave myself room to both add a dump tube and the Vibrant resonator, depending on what you find with your setup and what I hear next iteration of my $1000 exhaust.

You have any plans for a 93 tune? E85 is hard to get around here, long drive, although I have been experimenting with E30 tunes (so I can get two tanks worth from one 5 gallon container).

Unfortunately we only get 91 here so adding E85 is the best I can do for a safe, higher octane, reliable tune. The CP-E resonator is shorter than the factory one so the plan is to weld a flange on top of the exhaust pipe just in front of the resonator in a 45* angle to aid scavenging and to hide the dump tube.

You dumping open or into the exhaust?

There's a lot of mixed ideas about that, but you gotta do what you gotta do to keep it "stock" and passable.
For the 300whp (more or less), the 3" exhaust is enough and by plumbing it back into it keeps it quiet and stealthy! But mainly to look legal... ha!

Man, I can't wait to see this thing hit 300whp. That will be the tits and the tots. I'm glad I went with my DHM kit though. I saw 315 in 58* weather. It's still not fast enough.

This will be it for me, regardless; I think the LSD will do it justice on the short, technical tracks and solo events..

Ported manifold and ported turbine housing car. Also has the cyborg's EFR wastegate. No big inlet, no cyborg turbo.

That is a very large amount of performance for a very small amount of money. And by the curves, hard to find any fault with the way that performance is delivered.

You would break all those $/HP and lbs/HP calculators on the web.

Any idea what it will do on 93?

Every time you post data, my ideas change. Thanks, its fun.

Mine did 235whp. I don't remember what the torque was though. I had the "full works, though.

Thanks HJ, I found your build thread but you have clearly gone far beyond "modified".

Still learning how to drive the HP I have, but can't help dreaming. Getting point-by's from more expensive wheels is my second favorite thing. Setting new best lap times is my favorite.

SS has a stock man/turbo waiting on us for the Plan. My goal for the Plan was 230 hp on 93, now it has to be 236 hp. Lol. Or where ever a torque peak below 4k r's puts me.

Entire Cyborg turbocharger system. $1450 + $400 refunded core (optional so you'll have zero down time ).

Cyborg Turbocharger System includes:

Upgraded from stock Borg-Warner KP39 Turbocharger modified with a much larger billet aluminum compressor wheel, all new seals and bearings, and a custom optimized turbine wheel clip. (We do not publish or share compressor wheel specs or turbine clip measurements ).

Big polished Stainless 2.5" inlet tube that is hand made in the USA.

Fully ported and polished exhaust manifold.
*( keep in mind that ATP turbo kits use the stock manifolds, if your going that route, I can do a core charge with these as well and you'll have zero down time for your big turbo install as well as extremely improved flow for the new turbo (PM for pricing))

Full port and polished exhaust turbine housing.
>We remove the wastegate arm and port all the way through the wastegate path as well as port as deep into the turbine housing as you'd want to port.

Upgraded/Modified medium EFR internal wastegate
*(PM if your interested in converting to an external wastegate on the manifold ).

Very detailed and imagine heavy info can be found here on the forum.

Flat power band that doesn't ever fall off.

Ok, so this picture is my actual turbo that was recently installed and it's perfect! I'm still figuring the data log thing out (I had the Livernois tuner) but at a glance of the Cobb AP I was holding in my hand I saw 21psi at 6000rpms going on the on ramp before coming up on traffic. It should have come from the factory like this! I didn't leave the dump pipe to atmosphere, I had it re-routed to the downpipe to keep it visually legal at tech inspection, can't see anything from below. I also still have the factory intake (still waiting for my 2JR cowl one) with drop in filter, CP-E catted downpipe and exhaust (love the no drone and sound) and a large FMIC and racebar. I installed a Quaife LSD at the same time and this is definitely needed with this power. I actually thought it was slower or not much power because I usually have wheel spin in 1st, 2nd and 3rd with a little torque steer pull but nothing, this thing just pulls hard from about 2700 to 6500... NO regrets...

I sent a half-assed data log (like I said, still figuring this thing out!) and the tune the local tuner did to sourskittle and he told me I have a lot left in it. With him having said that I'm emailing Adam (at MaPerformance) the tune and let him do his magic!!

I've done the big turbo, small displacement before and HATED the turbo lag so much I got rid of that car (back then), this might not hit 350-375whp (like the big turbo guys are getting) but I haven't lost ANY low end power feel that I loved about the FiST!! Stay tuned as I post more info...
