Looks more like error control is intervening. You can zero them out too, or use the new WGDC/TIP 3D map and the higher modes.

Take a look at your logged WGDC actual vs base/target.

It was all completely fine a few days ago. The only thing that has changed was #1 the cobb update, which changed all kinds of things without asking. #2 maybe the heat has gotten to the spring. I have one tune that has not been touched by this new firmware, but maybe the firmware is already in my ECU ? Either way.... I don't have time to leg hump all this stuff, I'm packing diaper bags and headed toward the dyno...

217whp 248Tq
I think on a basically stock car + TBE + turbo upgrade + tune, you just can't argue with this... I mean... Look at the way it holds power till the end of the run... We didn't reallize it till after the car was off the dyno and paper was printed, but they let out early :(

But either way, the shape of the curve is what matters most in all this, and.... That dyno looks F-ing awesome to me..

Did I mention 215whp is the highest whp I've seen until now on FULL EVERYTHING BOLT-ONS.

I will get them to email me the file later, as you'd imagine, they are pretty busy and the dyno PC does not have internet on it.

Its layed over the "cobb stage3 ots 93oct" tune
Cobb stage3 OTS 93 *with* the upgraded turbo right? And the other plot is with your custom tuning, correct?

4th gear pull? Peak torque at 4k. That's like 1200-1300rpm later than stock, fortunatly it makes up for it up top. I like the horsepower curve. Should be interesting on E85.

Please share the files when you get them, would love to put them in the Dynojet software.

Thanks for getting it dynoed!

Did you log during the pulls?

That was spiking 26psi. Not sure about anything.

I really need to get that wastegate delt with though.

We are looking for a thumb file to transfer file RIGHT NOW

No. I was "behind the line". I didn't want to add anymore. Had to make sure they turned the stability control off and AC.
Having put on many dyno days in my time and being the dyno operator I can 100% understand this. Again, thanks for getting it dynoed.

I bet you could get 230 out of that easy on E40 and upgraded FMIC as the car sits. Maybe more.

No... Thank you !! I would have even taken it today because the wastegate issue up top, but it did well either way. I'm extremely pleased with the way it held power upto.

I also think tuning will get the turbo up faster and well as a real wastegate instead of a $3 spring from ace, lol

I do want to point this out.

This shows just how much that $3 spring on the wastegate has lost. Look how much lag it has NOW vs 2 weeks ago. That extra lag is from the wastegate not staying shut ( no other reason for it ). I didn't TUNE IN EXTRA LAG vs the cobb OTS tune, lol.

So while I'm ready to put the "stock car with a TBE and cyborg turbo dyno" thing to rest, just note that a proper wastegate would/will be a really nice addition to what its doing here. Being this dyno was at night, there is not one single reason it lagged that much more. Without that spring, it would not make over 20.5peak psi at any rpm at 100% wgdc ( ecu COMPLETELY TRYING TO RUN AS MUCH BOOST AS IT CAN DIAL UP ).

When i wake up... I'm asking my mom for a wastegate for my birthday this week (I was born in Jan, lol ).

Besides the wastegate, I'm all over a J-line intercooler. I can't afford anything else (like one that bolts on) and I won't buy a different one even if I could ( unless Panda builds one that's similar price/size and bolts on, which they may ).

True be told... Its got all the power I need/want. It has to have that wastegate ($50), but besides that, it drive awesome, it hooks at any speed in 2nd gear on the street ( like dead hooks), and now at 100mph, it doesn't just stare at me and wiggle, it just keeps moving to 115-120mph.

I also have a ton to learn with the ATR. So that will keep me busy. I have boomba shifting bushings that need installed and reviewed.

Ohhhhhh, and I will have my new inlet to the turbo to install very soon, so I'm excited about that :)

But though things come as money allows :) and I'm really happy with the car's power per weight now. I will def be at the track after I do something about that dang motor mount.

Wish i could find a stock/stock-ish focus ST to race from a 2nd gear roll :D I think it would be a really nice video, lol.

Also. 2J racing made 212whp/279tq ? Give/take. On the stock intercooler I think too. Obviously a pro-pro-pro tune on that car, but still... I wish Joe would have used a cyborg turbo on his car before going up yo a real turbo :/

I believe you razor :)
Your prob dead right on there. I did not think of that.
Either way, those crazy boost numbers going 22-18-20-19-22 over the area of 1000rpms point to the wastegate. No doubt in my mind at all, I'd actually bet money I don't have on that part, lol. Nothing changed other than heat cycles and cobb's firmware, which I don't think is responsible for that..

At somepoint, there will be more dyno's of course... I know Rick ordered his already.

Tip limit is like 41psi, lol. But really comes down to the simple fact the 5psi wastegate can't handle 26psi. If it could... Why would there be any high wastegate built? :)

My dream is that I install the 19psi wastegate and run very little WGDC through the ecu. It will smooth everything out as well. At one point, the WGDC was at 85% and the next wgdc was 27%. The wastegate is basically like bouncing.
