I know most of us here are smart enough to understand there are going to be parts made more to make money than to make power. The are also parts made to make power for a great price and some that are nuts expensive that will make great power......but none of us has to buy the crazy priced stuff unless we just want to either drool over it or brag about it or have big pockets and just do not care what it costs.....not may of those buy a FiST to mod though.

Lol. I just want the injen for the sound. With a cai you're really only gonna see nominal increases anyway. I may be wrong, but in my experiences modding cars, I'd bet outside of engine noise, you could swap a cobb, injen, and a stock box with a hole cut back to back and not tell any difference in the drivers seat. With such a small engine and turbo, I doubt you're gonna see much gain in real world performance. I've always seen intakes as cosmetic mods.

Which is why I'm going with the injen. It's red, it's shiny, it's cheap(er), and it's gonna make my car sound like a harrier jet. Anything else it does is just a plus.

That's what always goes through my mind when buying an intake. I almost talk myself out of it every time. Especially now that I'll be dropping 325 for Cobb's probably.

The Injen intake is great ;) sounds amazing. Makes the car feel more fun and exciting without being too obnoxious. You can modulate the sound, unlike with a BOV. Worth every penny!

Cj pony parts has free shipping. When I bought it, most prices were all around $250, so I went with the cheapest shipping

Hey Ed_The_Sledd, would you take a picture of the weather stripping that was included in the Injen kit that goes around the shroud to (somewhat) seal the intake off from the rest of the engine bay, please…..

Yes, normally hosting then on photo bucket or on a similar site is best.

They have a clip in the question and answer section on their site, under the intake.

Is there any benefit to the COBB intake vs the modded box with drop in?

Unless you upgrade the turbo...
