Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly would this benefit? I picked up my FiST a little over a week ago this would be my first FI car. My last car was just an 09 Focus.

It just offers a little less restriction to the air inlet (before the turbo).
Less restriction equals faster flow.
Faster flow equals cooler air.
Cooler air in equals cooler air out.

Every little bit helps.

So is this part finished/available now?
I've shipped about 6 now. Time out on them is still 3-4 weeks though from the time someone pays. Very time consuming and guys have been buying them up with cyborg turbo setups. :)

Oh, what's the cyborg turbo setup???
http://www.fiestastforum.com/forum/showpost.php?p=43233

Have a couple guys running it now and a pro tuner working on them and its pretty exciting :)

Turns out... I was not fair off when I told everyone I'm not a very good tuner. Turns out, I kinda suck compared to some of the pro- tuner guys :)

Panda tuning is handling my tune in a week or so as well as all the other tunes for the cyborg turbo. They are making me look pretty bad ( not too hard ).

LMK how much you'd want as I may have some moolah after xmas for such a thing, as there's not much left on the car I can still do.

For the whole system or just the inlet ? They are $150 shipped and I normally need about 3 weeks to get them :)
Also, they are not easy to install with the turbo on the car, its not the end of the world either, it just takes some patience.

When are you coming to install mine?

Dave
Dave if you were local (and had place work ), I'd do it for almost nothing... Being as your stuck doing it, at least know that the inlet is extremely easier to install when its already bolted to the turbo your installing.

I believe one of the guys installed the cyborg turbo as a whole unit, turbine housing to exhaust manifold...

Personally, I did it piece by piece ( manifold, then turbine housing, then turbo unit ).
