Take a refundable deposit equal to the full amount of your product. If, after the trial period, the person decides not to keep the product they have a period of time (10 days? 30 days?) to get it back to you for a refund. If he chooses to keep it it's already paid for. Keep in mind though your refunds would have to be prompt, otherwise you'll get slaughtered on this forum.
I offer something like this already. In the terms of condition there is a 10-day grace period within which you can send it back for any reason whatsoever. I need to advertise this better
I continuously get advice from many experienced business owners and mentors - one of those was to extend warranty to 1 year, forget the trial period and (something you don't want to hear) - increase the price by so retailers can discount it back to the existing price.
@MOFiestaST - I will do a bulk buy before this. Meanwhile, if you want to look at feedback, check the links below.
Some of you may be aware that the Focus ST Forum has been particularly critical of this product but Turbo Transformer offers a good alternative at a great price without racking up the amount of times the ECU has been flashed which a competent dealer will definitely look at before he serves your warranty. Most importantly, Turbo Transformer WORKS!! Even the harshest critics are taking a second look. A member on FocusST.org challenged me in a post (
LINK TO CHALLENGE DETAILS ON PAGE 2) which I gracefully accepted. After a few PMs back and forth, we came to an understanding. The member then purchased a Turbo Transformer unit and conducted a fair and thorough review
(LINK TO FAIR AND THOROUGH REVIEW ON PAGE 5). He does post comparisons with his own tune which Turbo Transformer isn't really meant to compete with. Please also keep in mind that the dyno numbers those are generated by vdyno. While many people swear by it, I hope to get real dyno numbers soon with a video shoot.
