Wow that sucks. Maybe chips in the glass from small rocks/debris in the road? Looks like the glass is tempered, so small imperfections might cause this to happen also.
Thats what I'm going with. Luckily since I work at Ford I got a brand new one for only $38.

I was surprised the lens was made of glass. Now a days lens are poly carbonate or plastic of some sorts.

Think I’m just going to go with a pair Morimoto fogs. Already see my ocd kicking in about my fogs being LED’s and headlights not. So a full retrofit will being coming soon or some euro lights. But after I get my wheels.

Yeah I ended up going with the Morimoto LED projector fogs and they’re great.

Did they require any extra; relays, fuses, wiring, ballasts, converters, heat sinks, brackets, etc., etc., or were they pretty much the proverbial 'plug and play'?
Nope. All you have to do is put the pins that are wired to the led assembly into the plastic plug they provide then plug it into the stock harness. That takes probably 2 minutes. They're a really good buy.

The reason they ship it with the plug being separate is some cars do not have a universal plug where you can flip it either way and it'll still 'click' into the stock harness. Since for some cars the plug can only go on one way they provide the plug separate so you can find out which inlet on the stock harness is ground and which is power and put your pins in the plug accordingly.

I took the time to just plug the naked pins into the stock harness without the plug first to find out which was ground power. IIRC with the plug they provide you it can 'click' onto the stock harness either way so I really didn't need to do that.

Enjoying my drive to work this morning. Just put on new wheels and tires this week. OZ Ultraleggerra's that I had refinished into a matte graphite. Tires are Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's. 205/40/17.

I know cars are a very personal expression of their owners, but those lug nuts...for real?
Their definitely bigger than I wanted but hard to tell when buying somthing online and not seeing them in person and I payed $120 for them so I'm rocking them. Enjoy!

Just a little buried....

...and the snow is only half over [emoji53]

The wife's CX-5 w/19" Blizzaks is an absolute blast in it though [emoji41]

Got stuck in the driveway trying to back out due to too much packed snow under it [}(]

Had to let it idle for a bit and have the exhaust do some melting while I got on my knees to dig out as much as I could.

Guess that's what I get for being lazy and not wanting to shovel my gravel driveway.
