Hmmm, tough one.. To be honest I think I'm still a bit behind on the driver mod in shifting quickly (last two vehicles were auto ), so her gti probably gets to 60 a bit faster against me, but you can really feel the weight difference, the fiesta feels way quicker than does the gti. Haven't really wrung either of them out. A better driver I'd give the nod to the fiesta all day though, very very similar specs but the fiesta is 600lbs lighter.

Stock I'd say the gti is faster. Still think it's a girls car though and I'd never be caught driving one. (Sorry is my vw hate showing?)
