Can we stop with the Fiesta ST is the fastar stuff? Let's get back to reality. It's a slow slow car that handles well.

Both my evos would chew it up and spit it out in every single measure of performance. Every. Single. One. Track, street, mountains, snow, etc.

The fiesta is a cheap, light and fun car that handles great for what it is. That's why I bought one, but please let's know it's place.

You can read into what I post anything you wish but my intent is to explain what we are doing here, making a fun car more fun, more capable at what it was designed to be, for an affordable price, simple as that.

Since so many want to focus on what the car was not intended to be my posts like this are to share with others something they may be missing in with their cars, maximizing the true potential of this great car and then having safe, responsible fun with it.

But some choose to be sometimes helpful and then sometimes a jackass just wanting to get attention by being a bit of an ass towards others as a few have shown here, whether they even perceive it or not is not the point, it is just not acceptable behavior and needs to cease, now.

Is that clear enough?

Maybe some of you have not been in his shoes so you cannot fully understand what he is going through while working to make something great for an excellent price for many that simply cannot afford or not willing to spend a bunch of money on what may or may not fit their needs, etc.......many aspects to consider as we all have different ideas of what we want out of this.

I highly doubt many, if any, of you are even close to dealing with what he is in your life, now or ever, or have ever developed anything as he is doing.

Consider this and then consider your actions here, you might want to show a bit more appreciation and patience, or go do this yourself, under the more idea conditions to achieve anything as serious as this and not get a bit offended by some of the comments made here.

Many great things said of course but all the negative comments are not helping make this happen, they are making it harder for him to do this.

There is a line between constructive recommendations and bashing, whining, complaining, etc....a very simple concept and many posts are simply out of line and they need to stop, now.

Let's not try and compare finances. I'm a father of two paying $1100 a month in child support, a mortgage with all of the costs associated in owning a house, two ST car payments, and supporting my unemployed girlfriend and her two children off of my sole income. I know the struggle, so don't try and act like I'm condemning him for not throwing more money at this to satisfy my needs in seeing data. I never expect or all other members to do what I wouldn't/couldn't do myself.

Let me slow this down to one single four-word sentence:

Virtual Dyno is free.

I've seen SS's logs and he is literally one pid short of having the info necessary to produce graphs. He's already collecting data, and looking at what is logged there is plenty of room to collect the one additional block of information. I've even offered to help. The response? Just you and him acting like I'm trying to kill the whole process.

I edited out my personal history stuff, I did not intend it to be about me, it was about what a car can be, to me should be, to the engineers and company behind it intended it to be, and I agree, it is a cheap, fun, car but is better than the sum of its parts and this thread is about making it more fun for more owners.

It is not about super cars, AWD, RWD, it is about a simple little commuter with great sporting capabilities, great fuel mileage, utility, done right reliability, so lets keep our comments to this car and this mod and being polite and appropriate and following the forum rules, myself included

But I do not know all the issues behind the scenes as maybe there are things he is still working on, etc...

I do know it can be frustrating to work so hard at creating something and then see some of the things posted here whether the intention is purely helpful, partially so, or just to act up.

I also know some say things not really thinking about how they are saying it, our intentions and results of our posts are not always what we think they will say to others unless we happen to be very good writers, why I have edited some of my own posts as I got to personal, to off topic, many words used when something simple could do the job better.

I am a very passionate person, as many of us here are, I can get a bit carried away but I do have a responsibility, moderator, to moderate and to act moderate so that is what I am going to do and help keep this thread within the forum rules we all must follow.

No, ever since I brought objection and requests for data to the turbo transformer I get the same reaction to requests for data. My posts are taken as flaming automatically, when all I'm looking to see is data that supports a monetary transaction. Like I said above, I'm in the same (relatively speaking) financial boat and I have no intention of wasting my money on modifications that don't have data to support them or aren't a good preparation for BT down the line.

Many people in here just want to see the data, and while some may wish for actual dyno information at least I'm realistic enough to ask for something free. I've done plenty of product testing and dyno work so I know the cost. Don't assume people are trolling simply because they ask for supporting data as it seems to me like the majority of the provocation comes from the other side of the fence-from Staff Team nonetheless.

I was not singling out any particular member, several have been on the edge here, some out of bounds, I was letting it fly but that has come to an end.

I am working in the background to resolve some of these things so be a bit patient please, I too want the answers and will have them one way or another and as soon as possible.

By the end of next week I plan to have a well tuned, well modified, pretty close to the max that can be done with the stock turbo with all supporting mods and dyno plots to show it.

As posted mine will be on 91 Octane, no additives, no E30, etc...as my plans dictate one fuel only for may particular needs and we have 91 here and many places the car will see, others will be able test and gain more as they wish.

I have been in a similar boat with water coming in everywhere and came close to jumping ship but my kids kept me going and I built a very nice life for us from the ashes, why I really want to see this succeed, not just for us but I do believe it is a great path to be on for this car.

I have no idea if this is or isn't something I would be interested in, which is why I ask for data. I didn't realize you were already aware of the plans I haven't fully decided on yet.

I must not be welcome on this forum if this is the admins constant response towards me and my posts, regardless of how I've tried helping you or Rick. While I understand that it hasn't been much it has been all I could offer whenever I could offer it. I may not be top-poster here but I do contribute and help when possible.

Hell, if this upgrade is actually worth doing then the information I'm requesting and trying to help with would literally help you sell them.

Like I said in my reported post, if admin feels the need to censor what I say then please just remove the post altogether and don't alter it to make me look like more of a jerk than you already feel I am. While I may not translate the best online, that doesn't mean I'm the same person you think I am.

As I have said multiple times-this could be a legitimate upgrade and fit in exactly with what some people would want. Not everybody wants to car bowl or have the largest BT available. That's exactly why I push and ask for free data and exactly why this thread has interest. Most of my posts are tempered quite well until admin wants to respond negatively against me.

V-Dyno is just a simple way to give an idea to what is going on without costing a single penny to anyone. Not being willing to try it looks worse than not having the greatest numbers, imho. It's just easier to maintain and generate interest by posting them.

At some point the entusiasm and patients wear thing and members rub on each other as get to the point of snapping or lashing out at each other Yes this I have seen in EVERY forum I have run or been on.. Part of the world wide interweb.
As I see it we need to step back out in the garage and put our feeling in the glove box of the car for now and let the man get on with his project. He is doing what he can as he can. And badgering won't make it happen any fost I am afraid..
You asked for Dyno's he provided one. So lets all take a break and let the settle down.. enough with the he said she said thing.
As for Team Staff we are still just imperfect humans wanting to make a slow car faster/quicker.. trying to be cost effective and maybe sneak up on a few unwary gearheads that look and the FiST and only see a lil shitbox car ..
I know we all want the same thing here so lets all work together and make this as fun and a good as it can be..
