Mine is very quiet, 3" DP with 5" 100 cell metal core cat, full 3" outlet to CBE, 3" inlet, 5" diameter resonator packed with SS so it does not burn out, fewer bends, less angle, than any after market system, 3" straight through oval Borla race muffler to a single oval tip. The freest flowing, least restrictive, system yet but it took many times the effort to make that expected. If I was sticking with a stock turbo and not going for much more power stock would be fine except the horrid DP.
If I do not sell my house soon I might mod the stock DP and exhaust and see what it will do, cut out the very bottle necked sections of the DP and weld in parts to make it far more open.....I bet on a stock turbo it will help a great deal but could be done to look stock, like the well ported manifold and modded turbo I now have
The combination of modded stock parts could be done to fool any inspector where that happens and make a great deal more power and have a better powerband.
I believe in using a cat unlike many, I care about how nasty the stuff coming out of the tailpipe is as it is additive and effects us all whether we choose to accept it or not.
