I got my Motegi MR125's installed today. I really like the way they look. Thanks iso100 for the help with the hub spacer rings...they worked perfectly. The car does feel noticeably lighter on its feet, if you will. It's a loss of around 5 pounds per wheel. I am using the factory tires for now, though when I replace them, I plan to go a little wider. These look great! Is this the satin black finish?

Any issues with rubbing? The stock wheel has an offset of 47.5mm 17x7 vs 42mm 17x7.5 for these. So using an offset calculator should have 1mm less on the inner clearance and 11mm extended outside edge of wheel. Those Motegi MR125 Titanium Gray wheels look really good, giving it wider stance.

No rubbing, at least with the stock 205/40 17s. This is the titanium gray finish. It also fills the rear a little better. It is amazing how much better the car looks behind with the wheels push out a little bit.

Not a very good shot, but I think it looks better with the slightly wider stance....lol, getting it ready for the downpipe install today.

Are the sidewalls appearing stretched out on the 7.5" wheels?

Not really any worse than the stockers. 205/40 is actually the size recommended on these wheels. I do want to go with a 215 or 225(if it will fit), but the larger tires weight 2-5 pounds more each. This kills the lighter weight of the wheel. These tires will actually go well with this car lowered with the mountune springs which I plan to get in the future.

Ahh, good to hear. I wasn't planning on getting new tires until these were shot.

Me too, especially since the stockers are $200 each. The treadwear on them is low, so I can see that I will have to replace them in about 10k miles or so. I definitely won't be paying $200 a tire when I replace them, lol

What tires are you looking into getting? I'll be getting new tires too and trying to hear what everybody is going to get; I don't know much about tires.

I haven't looked too much into it yet. Only thing I have been reviewing is the thread life and tire weight

Does tire rack list tire weights? Has anyone weighed the stock Bridgestones?
