what rev hold are we talking about here?
also what is the FFS supposed to do that i will notice?
I'm noticing when accelerating normally and shifting gears the RPMs hold for a bit before dropping on the Cobb Stage 1 tunes. On the stock software from Ford, my RPMs drop as soon as I depress the clutch.
When just driving normally, the delay forces me to shift slower for smoother shifts. Without the delay I can get through the gears quicker as I don't have to wait for the revs to match before engaging the next gear.
FFS is really only used for full WOT acceleration. Essentially you put your foot to the floor on the throttle pedal and shift the gears by only depressing the clutch and selecting another gear. By keeping the throttle plate open you keep the turbo fully spooled and don't have any boost delay between shifts.
It has worked well the three times I used it but I did notice one 3-4 shift where the RPMs didn't hold as much as I expected.
