Don't suppose you have a how-to on this do ya?
After so many months, did not expect someone is interested in the making of. Here you go,
1. Amon (
http://www.amon.co.jp) from Japan makes a lot of ready-to-install components for cars, eg. LED, USB ports, etc. Working with their components is as easy as making model cars using Logo blocks. Only two components were purchased for this installation, the controller with a toggle switch (
http://www.amon.co.jp/products2/detail.php?product_code=1854) and a RGB LED (
http://www.amon.co.jp/products2/detail.php?product_code=2906);
2. Solidering is simple. Solder the RGB wires of the LED to the controller matching the colors as well as the black one for grounding;
3. Cover the ST words at the back side of the panel using a piece of semi-transparent film to reduce the brightness of the LED and make the light comes out evenly;
4. Install the pedal using the hook side of Velcro which keeps the pedal stationary very well;
5. Connect the controller to the acc, +ve and -ve as well as the toggle switch; and
6. Tape the toggle switch beneath the streaking column using double-sided tape.
I have some pictures but not an online album. PM if you are interested.
