Hi fellow Fiesta ST members,

Decided to join this forum as I often look on here for information and it would be nice to share info and have discussions with other Fiesta ST owners.

This is my first Ford in a long time, but im 100% a car nut and ive had several Nissan 200sx's (S14 and S15), Subaru Liberty GT STI, Golf R, Golf GTI (2x GTI's) and a Lexus IS-F over the past 20 years or so - all have been modified. The family car is an Audi SQ5 and this has also had some light modifications to make it more exciting.

I always find myself coming back to a turbocharged 4 cylinder hatchback for my daily fun car. I found this very nice example of a Fiesta ST about 2 years ago. It was completely standard, always garaged, full service history and 95,000km (about 55,000 miles).

Since purchasing, I have done a bunch of basic mods, from maintenance and servicing everything to lowering it, stage 1 VUDU tune, large intercooler, Mountune exhaust and Mountune carbon fibre intake, Turbosmart dual port DV, stereo upgrade etc. Great fun little car and I love the colour.

Thanks for having me.
Lucas

WELCOME and CONGRATS!

Which model year did Ford go to the Mk8 Fiesta down under??
I think it was 2019 or 2020 when the Mk8 arrived here. Looking at the ones for sale, the oldest ones are 2020 models. You don't see many of them unfortunately, as our country is obsessed with SUV's and 4wd's and utes (pickups). And we are also obsessed with automatic transmissions - so almost anyone who is buying a small hatchback is not buying a Fiesta ST. So you don't see too many Fiesta ST's around unfortunately.

The other unfortunate aspect of the Mk8 Fiesta ST in Australia is that they are only available in the 5 door bodystyle, which is far less attractive than the sportier 3 door body style, which just looks so much better.
