Exhaust Advice

I've been doing a lot of research and I've yet to find anything to what I'm looking for. So I'm trying to find an exhaust that sounds similar to a rally car I know I won't get the same sound as a rally car because it's a different type of engine and etc but I've been trying to find something similar.

I was wondering if by chance any of you guys can recommend me something or what I can do to make my car sound similar to a fiesta st rally exhaust. I'm trying to build my car in respect of ken block because he was one of my idols.

There's different categories of rally cars. Is there a specific class rally car you are referencing?
I may be wrong but I believe many of the lower class rally cars had an MRT exhaust.
You also need to remember that the high class rally cars have purpose built drivetrain setups that are FAR from what you will find in a street car. Even if you got the exact same setup from a rally car your car would sound different just because the engines are different on their own.
If you want to match that sound as best as possible, I would start with a bigger turbo, get an anti lag setup going, and tell your tuner to make the tune super rich.

But I know that the car is completely different so the MRT would be the closest to the rally car what about MBRP exhaust?

The closest thing you can get will most likely be a custom straight pipe setup with a tune that excessively dumps fuel for pops and bangs. I believe sometimes they add a high flow cat, but generally WRC cars on this scale are all straight pipe. Keep in mind that engine is completely different from what your ST has, that car has a 2.0L engine which isn't even in the same orientation as our cars.


My best advice to get as close to this sound on a budget;
Get a bigger turbo, get an intake, get a downpipe, have a straight pipe exhaust made (bonus if you can do Titanium), get a tune and tell your tuner to put lots of extra fuel on decel

Milltek makes an off the shelf option. If you want to go down the custom route, you will most likely need to find a local shop to take your car to. I doubt many shops will have a fiesta on site to build a custom exhaust to ship out. Try any drift shops that are local to you, many drift shops make custom exhaust all the time. Especially straight pipes

That is his World RALLYCROSS car, not an FIA legal World Rally Championship WRC/Rally1 car.

Almost twice the WHP and torque of the 1.6 liter WRC cars, yes the 'north-south' engine orientation, and different gearboxes and AWD drivetrains, no passenger seat, and possibly lighter than the WRC cars (some of those Rallycross cars can accelerate faster to 60 MPH than an F1 car!!).

Rallycross may not have noise db limits, but the WRC certainly does, and catcons are required in all WRC machines, but they usually put them out near the tailpipe, so they also act to quell some of the raucuos rasp as well.

Yes, and buy some great industrial strength ear plugs as well, unless you actually want/desire severe hearing loss as you age.
