I went and bought the magazine, just to have it. I suspect people won't believe me without physical proof.
It's the APR/MAY '24 issue, and the car only gets one facing page; a one-page blurb and photos. It cost $17.11 in Indiana dollars.

Still, the FiST made the list. Not bad.
Yeah, I may be making a trip to my local Barnes & Noble to do the same, just to rub it in the faces of all of the dismissive attitude naysaying other import owners who incessantly rag on our rides. [wink]

I did a lil googling and came across this, https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/g60244718/greatest-cars-ever/ which is where they built their top 20 list from.

But really Road & Track loves the FiST https://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/road-tests/a29052647/2019-ford-fiesta-st-drive-review-photos-specs/ and https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/a28913/fiesta-st-excellent-performance-car/ and https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-culture/a5850/2013-road-and-track-performance-car-of-the-year/

When I say they love the FiSt...

And then there were three. The Fiesta ST is recommended without reservation. As a dynamic proposition in the real world, it is without peer. Were this magazine named simply Road, it would have the Fiesta ST on the cover six times a year.

"Quick, lively, and practical, the Fiesta ST is simply addictive. And my Porsches still tucked away in the garage are starting to get jealous." - Jack Baruth

^^^Jeff Zwart mentioned in that article used to compete in SCCA Pro Rally way back when that organization still was the governing body of rallying in the USA.

I remember him sliding one of the first Carrera 4 Porschies through the WINTER Maine Forest Rally stages (on 'sawblade' narrow wheels and Michelin winter/ice rally tires, of course!), back in the early-mid '90s. [thumb] [driving]

It's really no wonder why print magazines are closing shop then. I was devastated when AutoWeek stopped publishing, .. Then Road and Track, lately Hot Rod quit. . Shoot.
Yeah, AutoWeek going down was a real blow. .. I'm surprised Car & Driver outlasted Road and Track, but I subscribed to all those for decades. .. I now get Auto Car and Classic and Sports Cars out of England. (on my Libby account, not print)

Are the Brit rags "Race Car Tech" and "Race Car Engineering" still available in print form?

Pund is the editor-in-chief of Road & Track.
Ford Fiesta ST: I cannot think of a vehicle that offered more fun per dollar than the Fiesta ST. An absolute joy machine.
