Clutch pedal FEEL issues

Hi, y'all!

I replaced my clutch pedal with a brand-new (genuine) unit on March 23rd due to the old unit feeling like it had some plastic that was binding.
We also flushed the slave cylinder & brakes at that time, so everything had fresh fluid.
It was beautifully smooth at that time.
Since then, it has started to feel like a rubber band AND it only feels this way when I'm in gear. (I never experienced this with the old unit)
I haven't done anything to diagnose it. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Have you tried re bleeding the system? it's possible an air pocket has formed somewhere
haven’t flushed it since i did the job, but i did my brakes since then. i’ve got about 4qts of brembo dot4lv in my storage room, and i can head to my friends place and take care of it. shouldn’t be a hard job. it would be really nice if that’s the only issue

Did the clutch start feeling weird after the brake job? My first guess would be some weird air bubble formed. I could be wrong, but doesn't hurt to try

It started feeling weird a few weeks (approx 2) after the clutch pedal job.

How was the system bled? Most use reverse fomoco method or Motive power bleeder*

Motive. We did the entire system (all 4 corners in the correct pattern & slave cyl). We made sure we didn't go over 15psi on it, too.

What is this weird feeling?
When the car is in gear, the pedal feels like a rubber band. When it’s not, it feels smooth. It’s really peculiar & best explained by actually feeling it.

IS it still OEM flywheel...pressure plate and disc? Is there any issue with engagement or disengagement?

all OEM. i mean the engagement/disengagement isn’t smooth anymore. the car is just shy of 160k & clutch/flywheel/plate/slave cyl are due for replacement soon.

I think it's all due for replacement. I'm surprised the DMF has made it this far and is most likely Worn and needs replacement. There are many videos to show a Failed DMF on YouTube also.

It’s had routine maintenance, but I intend to push it past 200k.
Trans has a good amount of whine (sadly), but I want to do an LSD & replace bearings in the transmission when I pull it to do the clutch job.
I bought a low mileage DMF + clutch/plate (1500 on the DMF & it looks good + 500 on clutch/plate) for $300 since that price beats the ~$900 I’d spend on new stuff.

EDIT: i will also mention that i have a good amount of clutch chatter, especially on startup
