How'd the tune turn out?
I haven’t been on here much but tunes have been done. On the EMS I noticed a little more power on the top end on 91, but I am at 27 PSI compared to 25 with Tune+. Both VDyno logs put 91 at 270 whp. Also taking off in 1st gear the throttle response isn’t as responsive on EMS. We ended up doing E30 and it’s making 290HP. Adam’s tune is around 305. I ended up sticking with Tune+

Yeah I would think the tune that made power or the same power with less boost to be the better tune. On another note this forum has been kind of dead with people pushing the platform.Think I came late to the FiST party.

Adam’s tune is smoother all around. I like that he asked for logs of 0-60, normal driving, it feels more fine tuned. Both are great. I will tune both when I get a HPFP and compare again.

He just finished a HPFP tune for me on E50. I never had to do any 0-60 logs or drivability logs. No complaints in those ares though. Drivability is great. Even makes very useable torque down low almost like stock turbo.

I feel for you Cali boys. 93 to me feels downright anemic. Ive been on E30 since a month after getting the car couple years back. When I was getting a CEL for the evap I would reset the code which put me back on the 93 tune. After rolling on the gas I’d be like wtf? Then realize it was on the 93 map. Lol. 284 on 91 is stout tho and plenty if you've never experienced the “E”

I ran E30 on that setup it was nuts . very close to if not 300whp on vydno and 340ft lbs of TQ. Only reason I went back to pump was TQ steer was real.

Just a little data for those that come here via search, I had crazy spark blowout/no code misfires.

I was certain the coils were weak. Brand new ruthenium plugs gapped to .025”

Car purrs and pulls clean with the gap at 0.020”. I’m at sea level, bigger injectors, and Canadian fuel. Our fuel is highly regulated compared to down south. It’s super clean and I frequently have crap fuel in Washington/Oregon
