Just wondering, how many forum members own more than one Fiesta ST and why ? Assume that in many cases (if there are that many, lol) it may be a stocker (or mildly modded one) and a race or highly modded one.

I'm on my 2nd ST and 4th Fiesta overall, including the 3 cyl 1.0T, which was surprisingly fun to drive. Owned Subaru's, including a swapped GC, an Evo, GTI's, etc.. Wife has a Stinger GT2. Driving experience on these ST's provide more smiles than any of those and most cars out there. Was going to get a Porsche or BMW. Saw my current '16 a few weeks ago and had to have it. Current is a low mileage, molten orange w/ matching recaros, mildly modded with a custom dizzytune tune.

Aftermarket wheels on your Fiesta ST??

I am on 206 and Amwell Road all of the time, and also around Hillsborough, Belle Mead, and Somerset multiple times a week.

I have 16” decagrams on my modded one (DPro’s former car) with Conti ECS02’s in 205/45/16’s, which I like a lot, stock wheels on the stockish car but plan on 17’ Rota Titans with PS5’s for it in the near future if I don’t sell it. I like them both for different reasons but having a hard time justifying 2. I‘d rather drive either of them more than my GT350, planning to sell that.

Nice! Probably saw you around. I see a few ST's while commuting around. Only had this one for a few weeks now. Currently on stock wheels. This is me. Contemplating removing the stripe.

My prior ST was Magnetic. Wanted to get that color again to match my wife's Panthera Metal stinger. Should have never sold the one I had but was tough to take it with me during my move back to NJ.

I can always understand someone who owns multiple of the same car. At one point in time I had 3 integras, one was a cheap daily beater, one was my gutted out dedicated track car and the other was more of a clean weekend car.

I will eventually buy a fiesta st. Whenever that happens my SE will most likely go to full track only mode and just cage it and gut it. That most likely will not happen until I buy another truck.

There is a black FiST with factory wheels always parked in the lot of the Research Center on the northbound side of 206 in Princeton/Montgomery, across from the airport.

That is the only other one I have seen around here lately.

My Magnetic has bronze Dekagrams/205 Neo Gens on it, and an M-Sport stenciled lower (IC cover) grille.

I'm pretty sure I've seen you around. Often i drive my boring company car, a Chevy equinox. This one keeps me happy until I find something else, but I hope that I keep it. Glad that I purchased this one. A one owner cream puff. Prior owner took great care of it. Did everything that I would have on my own. Except for the pop tune, which isn't horrible since it only engages at 4k and easy to get around. The Thermal R&D amazing! Had the MBRP on my prior.

I won’t lie if I was in your position i.e. a house with a big driveway you might not even have my car😂. I have been known for owning multiple models of cars in the past. I owned 3-4 running 240z‘s back in the day and did the same with 240sx’s and I would juggle parking spots on the 240sx’s . Alas being a little older now I am really no longer down for juggling parking spots. I have my two current spots full and if anything happens it will be the BMW leaving for the likes of a Lotus.

Now that my car has had the vibration problem solved, it runs with NO squeaks or rattles from anywhere as a 10yr old car with 110,500 on the clock. Runs and performs like a brand new car! It's a keeper!

Just one for now, although it hasn't been running for months because of a exploded turbo and a new engine on order, so i've been strongly considering a 2nd one. Also i'm keeping a close eye on the r5 rally chassis that are going up for sale, saw a rolling chassis that sold for 18k euro, if there ever is another opportunity like that, i just have to take it.

I have yet to see anyone convert an R5 over for full street (legal) use, and that would be insanely cool, and is one of my 'lottery winning' car ideals/projects.

One of the only ways one could have an AWD Fiesta with a STRONG, well thought out/engineered drivetrain and fully independent suspension, albeit with the disadvantages of a Sadev sequential gearbox on the street (unless you engineer/fabricate something to allow the use of the H pattern IB6 with it? [???:)]).

Can you run as street legal with the full FIA certified cage, and without any of the air bags, in Holland?

As far as i am aware they are street legal around here, the cage and lack of airbags is at least not a problem. I've also seen a R5 Fiesta at a car show once, which drove there on it's own. Regardless, the rules are not that strict here like in Germany so even if it isn't street legal, getting it there would not be the biggest challenge of the project.

I also wouldn't bother with the sadev stuff my self, way too expensive and way too much maintenance, hence why i am hoping a cheap rolling chassis go's for sale, without any drive-train components in it, just the sub-frames, suspension and chassis which are the hardest parts to figure out anyways.

I'd probably put something like an inline 5 from a focus rs in it, awd gearbox from a volvo (or maybe a kotouc or quaife sequential) together with a range rover freelander rear differential and some custom driveshafts and engine mounts, all a lot heavier than what they are normally running, but also 10 times cheaper, way less maintenance, and way easier to get a bunch of power out of it while still having something responsive.

But for now a project like that is definitely gonna cost more than i can put in to it right now, already have enough with one fiesta as a money pit, so if a good chassis is going for sale, it's going in to my shed for the time being.

This isn’t a full rally spec car but it’s pretty cool. I was sharing the track with him one day. It’s got the bodykit. Everything else was fairly stock or lightly modified. Beautiful car to look at. Gives the WRC feel. This is about as close as we can get to a rally car for the street. IMG_9172.jpeg

That is definitely the M-Sport full works R5 body kit, but if he did not alter the suspension radically (pickup points, scrub radii, control arm lengths, etc., etc.) it will not perform/handle optimally with the spacers/offsets/'deep dish' needed to fill out those huge flares.

Looks GREAT though, I will give him that! [twothumb]

Are those Revolution 5 spokes on it, or Compomotive MO5s??

don’t recall what wheels it was on to be completely honest.
his car had pretty much only had coilovers. Everything else was OEM from Ford.
he didn’t seem like he was trying too hard for a lap time or anything. But the car looked great at any pace he did

Just picked up my second Fiesta ST this past Friday... a 2016 magnetic, stock. I feel like it's got some vibrations i dont remember having with my first one, a 2015. I sold about 2 years ago so can't remember.

What did you do to fix vibration issues?

Right now I'd like to put rear motor mount and passenger side motor mount since I'm getting a lot of movement but don't expect that to help with vibration :D

Vibrations from where? Had some dingbats mount some tires without balancing them. (after I had to point out that they mounted the tires with the outside wall on the inside) That'll definitely cause some vibrations.

Just recently some dingbat hit & run my parked car. Mad slack in the steering gear. So that's a source of vibration in the steering column.
