Older Post... I apologize for the confusion. Adam no longer works for our company...he is still doing tuning and still works WITH us for tuning, however I do not directly tune any cars.

Essentially the way it works is you STILL get our tune file with the purchase of an Accessport:

http://www.maperformance.com/fiesta-st-accessport-v3-cobb-tuning.html

for FREE

This is a one time tune, although logs are sent to Adam for adjustment IF necessary.

If you already HAVE an Accessport, you can purchase our Stage 1 file for 75.00 and again, you can send in a log to ensure everything is operating correctly.

Any additional custom tuning would go through Adam at his new company or custom tuning in general would refer to Adam

His website is located: www.adamtuned.com

Zero green text in your sig nor blow your statement.

I can now confirm from personal experience that Panda Motorworks is a great place. Chris was very helpful to me. I will entrust them to do any further tuning/installs on my FiST until further notice. Stay tuned.

Still on Randys Mountune S1 93oct tune with 4 slots:
Slot 1 = Normal Boost w/ extra punch.

Slot 2 = Normal Boost w/ 2.4k LC.
Slot 3 = Less Boost No LC.
Slot 4 = Same as Slot 1 w/ -1 global spark. (Prevents detonation incase of lesser than 93 octane)

I've got a Stage 1 91 octane Mountune tune. It's very nice and the car is traction limited now in 1st and fairly traction limited in 2nd gear as well at WOT. The car is much better behaved, except boost is pretty abrupt in relation to pedal input. I don't know if this is throttle mapping or something else. If it's throttle mapping then I have to say they juiced the throttle a bit too much right at tip in. If you aren't very upshifts from 1-2 and 2-3 at a leisurely pace is a process of depress pedal-.5 second delay-ABRUPT BOOST-back off pedal to account for boost-repeat. It's hard to be smooth.

We lost the hill hold feature somehow after applying the tune. I'm going to turn it off and on to see if it can get it to come back...my wife actually likes it.

I can confirm from painful personal experience Panda is a disaster, uncommunicative, and treacherous. I paid $250 in April and then waited 2 months for first tune, no response. Finally asked for a refund in June.

Under duress, we eventually swapped 2 tunes and logs over July and August. Never reached Cobb tune performance. Again requested refund. Again, BS, delays, still trying to get a refund.

I am an easy customer, Panda is bad juju.

Siestarider - Man, I'm very sorry to hear about your bad experience. You never achieved the same performance with a Panda tune that you did with the COBB OTS maps? Seriously? I'd like to know more - very curious. PM me the details!

Just flashed a Tune+ 93/e30/91/economy map onto my FiST. First revisions, and I haven't had a chance to log yet but wow, I'm going to have to learn how to drive again! :D

What does everyone think about the following - Cobb Accessport with Injen CAI, CPE intercooler, CPE downpipe and CPE exhaust + upgraded motormount. As I'm not using the COBB parts is it still OK to use the factory preset tunes? Will it cause any negative issues? Understand that a custom tune would be more beneficial, however, not made of money.

Thanks all in advance.

I still suggest a custom/pro-tune. You can get an e-tune relatively cheap considering how much you're planning to spend on all of those parts you listed.

Thanks OxfordST - much appreciated. Just to confirm, nothing "bad" will happen i.e. get broken. Correct? Also, not familiar with e-tune, can you explain or provide a website link? Thanks again.

Stacey,

You can run the Cobb OTS Stage 3 map to get you by. However as suggested it is best practice to get a E-tune (Protune) to calibrate the car specifically to your fuel, elevation, and modifications.

I offer E-tunes on my website, and have over 100 positive reviews.

Currently sitting on the Cobb OTS Stage 1 93 Octane Tune (v220) to get me through winter without chewing up my winter tires; but before that happened I had just finished up e-tuning with Randy from Mountune to great satisfaction. Managing to hit some pretty good numbers (200HP / 280tq reliably with good datalog vitals) for having only a drop in Green Filter (Not that that would be a factor, as it does little more than make some noise) and a Cobb RMM when I'm running that on the oem Potenzas.

I hear Alex over at Stratified should be finishing up and releasing their tune for the car this January, so I am pretty eager to see what they have to offer when they come to the table; especially when I finally get around to buying and installing that CP-e Delta Core I've had my eye on.

I'm excited to announce we finally have official Fiesta tunes from MAPerformance that will allow you to take advantage of your car's bolt-on's and performance without sacrificing longevity or reliability. They will be coming with every AP3 and can also be purchased separately for $75 if you didn't buy your AP from us!

Anyone doing a stratified tune with FMIC aka 'stage 2'?

That would be their flash tune set up for having an aftermarket intercooler.

I ask because I got mine the other day but have not flashed it yet, still have the Cobb OTS stage 2 tune, trying to get a feel for that before I flash the stratified one so I can tell the difference.
