My HOA doesnt allow vehicle maintenance either but I just do it. They havent cited me yet. If they do Im gonna burn my house down and live in a van...down by the river. Most likely on a diet of government cheese.

These HOAs have purpose but the boards are like commies...they get a taste for power and need to be reminded who they are working for.
😂 Fight the Power

Washed my car at the station on Wednesday then changed the oil/filter change at the new house for the first time yesterday.
@our guile - Those ramps work without hitting the front bumper?
My low profile ones barely clear and are on stock suspension with stock 17" wheels.
What ramps are you using? May be interested in purchase for the additional lift.
They're good for getting a jack underneath but often use them for underbody wash during the Winter.

The ones I'm using are quoted for a 2.5" lift.

These are the ones I have, and they're great. I don't remember if I got them before I went to the 16" wheels but no, my front bumper doesn't hit them.

While we're under here - the evap box...I've developed a P 0467 and swapped the box out (snapped a stud a'course) - reset light, took a ride. Light popped on at next startup. I haven't checked for a code yet - was I a bit hasty in diagnosis?
Update - I realize I've never popped a code for the fuel feed tube, just the shitty symptoms, hence my confusion and mis-diagnosis. Now, to replace the snapped stud for the cannister i messed with and order another 047E, the actual culprit.

IMO, best sounding exhaust made for this car. I miss mine
It's great, have had Cobb on my car for many years.
Had my brother do a "drive by" the other day while I stood on the side of the road to hear my car on the outside for once (because even with the windows down you can't get a good sense how it truly sounds) and I was very happy, it changed my perspective on the car big time. Between shifts you get a nice crackle and it doesn't sound too raspy or high pitched in the higher revs. It's a little louder than I thought it might be, but not in an annoying way.

Picked up a second fiesta ST today. I got it from a friend for $400. It has some engine issues and a bunch of rust shots and is at almost 200k. Unfortunately I think it’s too far gone to save so I’m pulling the transmission to rebuild for my fiesta. It has a full Recaro interior that I will be selling.

That is an awesome amount of rust on the rear quarter panel. I'd be interested in knowing what the underside looks like in detail as it'll help us focus in on, and protect the same areas with ours. Also curious how the rear strut towers are holding up. Are the rear wheel well liners installed?

I will try to answer all that as I disassemble the car. That rust spot has been on the car since he got it back in 2020. I don’t know where the car was from before he got it.

So far, I have found the following leaks -
Drip rail on driver side - dealership replaced the drip rail molding, apparently ripped up the sealant under there too. nice.
tape on the rear needed replacement
locator grommet on driver side taillight
passenger side rear door

All this with a car that has never been in an accident at all.
