None at all, and I got a great deal on them. Samsclub FTW!

Sams club is pretty cheap too. I believe I will go with them since they didn't give you any grief about the size. They fit just fine and this is a very wide 195 I have no idea why 7 is the maximum recommended width...kind of silly. I just ordered my matte black 15x8 td pr1.2 through pca-1 (thanks again!) and I'm in the process of ordering my tires as we speak. I'm pumped! I'll be stock ride height for a little bit until I can get the mountune sport springs...seeing that white one looking good at stock ride height makes me feel a lot better about that! woohoo!

When I order mine Sams had $50 instant rebate and BFG had $100 rebate. No rubbing under any driving situation at all by the way.

wow you basically stole those tires! congrats on a good deal! It's awesome having 15s so many tires to choose from and much cheaper than 17s. I love how you can save a lot of weight, have a 1 inch wider wheel, add a full inch to the sidewall of the tires for ride comfort all while keeping the same OD for proper gearing and keeping the speedo correct. It's like a win win win win situation lol

Hmm i was going to go with neo gens but you may have convinced me to go for the sc2s. I love the look of a decent streched tire

do it! I have had both (albeit not on this car) had the neo gen in 17 inch size on my old svt focus more than one set actually. they were really good tires for all seasons. they don't last very well and just have a 280 treadwear rating which is pretty low for all seasons imo. They do however stick as good or better than any all season I've seen and do amazing in the rain, but so do the sc2 from what I've heard. I just got them on my matte black 15x8 td pro race 1.2 wheels and let me tell you pictures don't do it justice. It looks plan bad ass and it's a pretty square fit there isn't much stretch at all. There is some stretch but very minimal and is actuallly optimal for handling.

I just got mine mounted yesterday I have well over 100 miles on them thus far and early today I took it on a few spirited backroad runs and wow...I was impressed over the stock setup with the michelin ps as3 all seasons (optional stock tire). Those 205/40/17 michelins were around 7.5-7.75 inches across the entire tire mounted on the stock 7 in wheels. I measured the 195 bfg on my 15x8 td wheels and it was well over 8 closer to 9 from side to side that's including the very slight bow on the sidewalls from the stretch. It was 8 inches across just the tread alone. They're supposed to have a 7.7 tread width but I assure you that wasn't measured on an 8 inch rim lol. They are wider than the specs say when mounted on these wheels and IMO are the perfect fit for them. No question they're wider than stock I have some comparison photos of the whole process. I'm going to attempt to post pics bare with me haha....

^^^I just wish that some of the other tire companies (as well as BFG with their Rival S) made their 100/200 tread wear donuts in a 195/55-15 with the same specs/dimensions.

I've had the SC2s on other cars, and although a great (and good wearing) street tire, at a 340 tread wear rating I was less than impressed with it's ultimate grip. [:(]
(I guess one cannot have everything, except in the 300 tread wear Pilot Super Sports, or so I'm told. [dunno])

Absolutely, they look phenomenal especially on those 1.2s [thumb], I just wish that they were 200 tread wear gumballs. [wink]

I can't figure out how to upload the pics. I can get to the pictures by right clicking and selecting "open in new tab" and they come up in a new tab from another site (facebook). Can someone please explain to me how to upoad photos directly onto the reply?

they make the star specs in 195/55/15 that have similar specs to the bfg sc2 as far as size etc. They're a pretty decent 200 tread wear tire from what I hear. If I ever get another set of 1.2 to run sometimes or on track that would probably be the route I would go.

^^^Yeah, but they are nowhere near as wide as the SC2s in tread width. [:(]

The Star Specs have quite a bit more grip due to tread compound and possibly casing design so a bit narrower could still end up being faster but the 205/50/15 SSII would likely be my pick for a summer only ultimate grip tire on an 8" wide rim. 7.5 tread width and 19lbs, it is a better fit than the 195/55/15. .3" smaller diameter is not a bit issue.

I went with 6ULs in 17x8. I wanted to stay on a 17" wheel because I didn't want to shorten the gearing or go with a higher profile tire, I have the Wilwood BBK, and I like the look of a 17" wheel on the FiST. Without spending BIG money the 6ULs are the lightest 17x8 that I could find and have a great reputation. I did the 4x100 conversion instead of waiting for the FSWERKS 4x108 version because I'm toying with the idea of giving the 17x9 6ULs a shot for a set of A/C wheels.
