Picked up some smokers gasket, ever since I installed my S280 my thermal exhaust has been vibrating pretty bad at idle and worse when the ac is on. Looks like the rear resonator is vibrating on the frame. I loosed all the clamps and re adjusted. And it got even worse lol. I’m going to add that high temp foam to try to dampen some of the vibrations. And re adjust again. Hopefully It helps

Just finished machining & mounting my custom gas pedal extension plate made from Sparco dead pedal !
Installed it today and took it for a test run and what a difference from every other one I've tried before 👍
No back plate needed since it raised the pedal 3/16" and with a 1" extension from the stock pedal it makes rev matching such a breeze !!

So far so good, loosed up the clamps and adjusted best I could, the exhaust seems to shift when doing WOT pulls. I put some smokers gasket in the area circled, that’s were the piping was hitting and vibrating. As of now the piping isn’t hitting the gasket but just as a precaution. The gasket is good for 650 degrees.

Yes stock shocks/ struts,I’m the third owner, worse case there’s 55k on them. Still feel great but I’m no racer, track person.
I did not ask as a critique about retaining the factory pogo sticks, just to try and judge the ride height with the Spec Rs depending on the damper used. [wink]

So far, from what I've observed, generally, the cars that sit the lowest with them are using the factory dampers, and the ones which sit at or close to factory ride height (despite Swift's 1.0" drop claims) are the Bilstein B6es.

Tomorrow is gonna be the day I finally get the Wilwood brakes installed on the Fiesta. Had to get a new set of brackets since the provided ones were missing cinch nuts. Ron got me an RMA number for just the brackets but in the interest of time I ordered a set from JEGS drop shipped from Wilwood. Ill have a spare set in case anything happens to the original set. These 6 pots are gonna stop the Fiesta on a dime during my Dragon trip next month. Ill also be pairing the kit with some BP-20 pads to reduce brake fade.

Brakes are finally done. Also fixed a boost leak and possibly a coolant leak that returned from previously. Has anyone had the sight glass leak on the pro alloy tank? It wasn't threaded on all the way and I never touched it when I installed it. Brakes definitely feel better then the stockers.

The past year I’ve been getting musty smells inside the cabin after rain. Luckily it doesn’t rain a lot here in Southern California but still. I also get water in the spare tire area. Last night and this morning It smelled funky since it rained. So I decided to check out the sunroof drains. Poured water and the passenger front was draining no water, not even a single drop. So I took the trim off to expose the tube and water fell In there. Took the sunvisor off and had enough clearance to get the headliner down a bit and take tube off. Blew in it and there was little flow. Then I sucked it and some piece of idk what went in my mouth 😝. Needless to say I got flow now. I wonder if that contributed to the water in the hatch but I will check that out some other time. I hate sunroofs.
