Well Sunday is the day I’m changing out my hybrid to a 2867 gen 2 l, direct swap. Once tuning is done I’ll report back with a before and after, give my thoughts. Initial impressions are super positive besides having to buy a bunch of little parts it’s a nice kit. And the turbo looks huge compared to the hybrids I’m very excited and if my brother skips out on my whoosh y’all can get dips for it if ya want it. I even got a cel defender hahahaha

We got the car together it wasn’t an easy drop in experience but on the base map it’s very happy. It’s a good 1000rpm later on lag vs the whoosh hybrid,3500 vs 4500. I’m glad i did the tial wastegate because the one that comes in the kit is pathetic and the V band was a major pain, and had to make an extension for the cross over pipe because the elbow off the turbo wasn’t long enough. Besides that it wasn’t wild and no i didn’t change my manifold it’s stock to the heavens lmfao

Looking forward to updates here. Also FWIW, I gained a few hundred RPM by switching my manifold to a modified stock one from WOR.

Been saying this about the crossover pipe ever since my install* Even told ATP about it. The OP that bought My Gen2 kit will get the extension I made with the Turbo so that's a bonus for them!

Strangely enough, the Ford gaskets leak on my ATP kit. I use their crappy looking little gray gasket and it’s totally leak free.
Meh that’s why you replace the line because it’ll match itself to the gasket

I’m at 22 psi currently peak boost is right around 4800, I’m sure a 2860 would be a good 500rpm less but i actually really really like it because it feels like like a coyote running a cobra jet very linear power band

how are the torque curves on the two runs so completely different? are the blue curves with the Whoosh Hybrid and the red curves the 2867r? either way i never thought i'd see a torque curve like the dotted red curve on our engines. that's not a knock on your results, by the way.

Because the whoosh hybrid spoils like stock and the 2867 has to build boost like an old school Honda i prefer the 2867
