Agreed re not corrupting the fine efforts those engineers have made. I'm sure they're lighter than OEM but I'm having trouble finding exact weights. Another option would potentially be MAK NTT's (think Integrale wheel). A bronze rather than a gold could be less loud...
The Trofeo 4s weigh 18.4 lbs. according to Tire Rack. 4.1 lbs. lighter than stock. I put some on mine and immediately felt a difference. Lighter steering and better control.

Used to go and watch rallies when I was in N. Ireland. Last one I got to see was when Toivonen crashed his Escort going straight through a hedge at a T junction. Sat and talked to him for about an hour afterwards. Such a great driver and a sad loss to the rallying world. Those Escorts are really something to watch especially on tarmac.
Yeah that was sad, what a talent, and a real ent by the sounds of it.

Henri was one of the most charismatic and affable/accessible of all of the WRC pilots, besides being one of the most talented, ever, worship for Colin notwithstanding.
In fact, he was very much like the beloved Mr. McRae in that respect.

Some even found it hard to believe that he was from Finland, given how much enthusiastic character and jovialness he displayed, which went totally contrary to most of his fellow countrymen drivers' very stoic, staid personalities.

Bring back stoicism eh. I hate how the culture endlessly incentivises over-emotive behaviour...

Henri was much less 'emotive' than just plain old 'animated', charismatic, and enthusiastic.

His death on the Corsican round of the WRC was the final nail in the coffin of the whole Group B class/era.

Rallying hasn't been the same since.
