I had P1450 pop up so I did what every responsible 2019 owner would do. I used this as an excuse to convert to the old EVAP and installed a Whoosh induction hose.
.

It seems like it idles smoother and my MPG went up 2.5mpg on a trip I take every week. Maybe just a coincidence or maybe my old EVAP was going bad for a while before it threw the code.

Next she needs an engine compartment cleaning.

Took me most of the week since I put it all in then had to almost do it over again to make adjustments. But finished up today.

Probably be a week until I can get it aligned.

How long did it take to vacuum up all evidence of dust and dirt?? Amazing!
Haha, well I don't daily drive my car, and honestly a portion of all that time was spent cleaning things you can only get to with it off the ground and the wheels off. Soooooooo, you're not wrong at all.

The coilovers looks very sharp, but not exactly in my budget.
I want to put coilovers in just to see what the fuss is about. The only way for me to understand will be to experience them personally. I like the stock suspension a lot so far. Ive read and been told that a good set of coilovers is one of the most functional and interprettable changes you can make much like the tires.

I had FSWerks install my K & N coilovers. They are stiff and lowered but I love them, even at my age. They really do make the car handle like I want it to. No rubbing anywhere on standard size wheels and tyres.

These beauties must be preserved for posterity.

Fitted a short shift today. Went for 25% shorter throw. Took it for a spin. First stop to refuel (99RON). What a difference in shifting!! (About 25% in fact 😏) and a noticeable improvement with the better fuel.
Happy news year everyone🎉

A little late to post, but Friday I installed the driver and passenger mount inserts and replaced the passenger mount bolt. That mount seems like it might be on its last leg, the bottom cushion thing is like deflated or something and the mount and top plate have a lot of wiggle even with the "pineapple slice".

Also installed the shifter base bushings and transmission cable bracket bushings while I was doing the drivers side mount. The cable bracket was missing the bolt for the rear bushing so I had to source one from home depot to finish the install. So far, I'm loving how the car drives and shifts now (threw the whoosh shift reduction on like 6 months ago), and the engine noticeably moves less after putting the inserts on. Only real NVH I've noticed is when I turn the engine off you can feel the vibration through the whole car.

Yeah I like the purple but I hate how it’s next to a red battery terminal cover. I might paint it black or find a replacement.

Can we even get these separately from the whole positive cable, or any aftermarket at all?? [dunno]

Mine sheared off of the rest of the cover at the fold/'hinge', so I put the red shipping protection cover from the Odyssey battery on there temporarily, since nothing would hold the factory one together. [:(]
