Yesterday I finally got the DNA front control arms installed and took the first long drive into work this AM. Definitely more NVH but they feel amazing.

Gonna be getting everything together to do another brake fluid flush this coming spring, and looking to install the Powerflex Black Series rear beam bushings. Also coming up on 60K miles so will be time to do a gearbox fluid change.

Been a hot minute since I've been on the site fellas. Didn't do this today but over this past weekend. Phew, man what a tough couple days. No relaxing for me, but worth it!

Buddy decided to put his Fiesta ST engine back to stock. I still had his original turbo in my building. Went ahead and extracted the broken bolt from the exhaust connection on the turbine outlet of his stock turbo. Luckily, it came out smooth. Chased the threads on all three mounting holes with a tap. R&R'ed his Turbo Technics S280/tubular manifold with his stock turbo/manifold. Replaced his front strut bearings and front wheel bearings while I was at it. Got his turbo and manifold(my old pumaspeed) for $1000 since I did all the work for him. Smoking deal if I may say so myself. The turbo setup only had about 4000 miles on it.

Went ahead and replaced the turbo/manifold on my car too. Replaced my OEM diverter valve(blow off valve) with a Turbosmart EM Plumb Back VR2. I also went ahead and bought the pop/burble tune from Tune Plus while I was at it. I have a lifetime tune from Adam I bought back in '16 and figured I'd throw him $75 for being such an awesome tuner. Plus, I'll be able to make some noise and be immature while driving my car.

And now the wait for the tune to be completed. Still waiting on my base tune from Adam...le sigh.

I will have a perfectly working Pumaspeed x37 and whoosh manifold for sale very soon!

I just used to take the front wheel off my mountain bike and it fit in the back with the seats down, no problem.
I did this too but mine is a road bike and it took some moving the front passenger seat around and some twisting to get it to fit even with the front tire off. Fortunately for me, I didn't need to do this regular or I probably would have had to get a hitch or mount for my roof rack also.

What roof rack were you running? And do you have pics of it installed? I’m wanting one for bikes and kayaks, but haven’t seen a lot of options.
It was the Yakima Baseline rack (here) and the bike trays I liked best were RockyMounts BrassKnuckles (not pictured below). The Yakima system was okay, but I didn't really like the way it fit with the given measurements and it was also very expensive, but I think any bike carrying solution is going to cost a lot.

Thanks for the info, I’ll have to look into that setup. Also, your car makes me wish I had been able to find that blue color. It looks so damn good!

shite job. changed the brakes. unsiezed all the rear slide pins. had to lever them out using multiple open spanners.

front pads down to 1mm. rear discs and pads absolutely knackered.

That's one of those jobs I really hate doing.

English has one or two gems doesn't it.

those rear discs were blued - pads were all burnt up.

the passenger side slide pins needed 20 minutes in the vice, plusgas and the dust boots carefully peeled off before I finally levered them out.

it wasn't rust. just very very hardened old grease. I'd say that's first time they'd been out in the cars 55k mile life.

tomorrow's job is to snowfoam it and then jetwash all the crud out of the arches.

Installed the un-obtanium Rola rack today. Actually looks pretty clean even without anything else mounted up there. Super, super simple and easy to install though. Can't hear it adding any egregious noise even at highway speeds but that's likely because all I can hear are the R888R's right now lol.

Bellend is probably my favorite of the words I’ve heard over there

My job is to build resto mods like this. I actually look forward to going to work now, unlike when I was a service manager at Ford. If a customer has a vision, we can do it. Were not limited to muscle cars however. If you want upgrades on your Fist, I would be glad to help you out. GQ Creations Auto, Chambersburg PA.
