Been a hot minute since I've been on the site fellas. Didn't do this today but over this past weekend. Phew, man what a tough couple days. No relaxing for me, but worth it!
Buddy decided to put his Fiesta ST engine back to stock. I still had his original turbo in my building. Went ahead and extracted the broken bolt from the exhaust connection on the turbine outlet of his stock turbo. Luckily, it came out smooth. Chased the threads on all three mounting holes with a tap. R&R'ed his Turbo Technics S280/tubular manifold with his stock turbo/manifold. Replaced his front strut bearings and front wheel bearings while I was at it. Got his turbo and manifold(my old pumaspeed) for $1000 since I did all the work for him. Smoking deal if I may say so myself. The turbo setup only had about 4000 miles on it.
Went ahead and replaced the turbo/manifold on my car too. Replaced my OEM diverter valve(blow off valve) with a Turbosmart EM Plumb Back VR2. I also went ahead and bought the pop/burble tune from Tune Plus while I was at it. I have a lifetime tune from Adam I bought back in '16 and figured I'd throw him $75 for being such an awesome tuner. Plus, I'll be able to make some noise and be immature while driving my car.
And now the wait for the tune to be completed. Still waiting on my base tune from Adam...le sigh.
I will have a perfectly working Pumaspeed x37 and whoosh manifold for sale very soon!
