Link for the lazy:

It's an absolutely great intercooler for the money and performs incredibly well. There are some fitment difficulties, but it's definitely nothing that can't be dealt with. Hands down the best intercooler for the money.

What do u mean by fitment issues? Like fitment issues like the 2j, which is impossible and doesn't fit or? Just curious dude, as I've been completely f#%ked with my first IC purchase

It's nice to see more people jumping on the MTC, definitely best bang for buck and the guy that makes them is very nice to deal with.

It's $500 CAD to my door... Not too shabby. Still wondering what the Depo Racing offering is going to be though. I want to see sizes as I may lean towards them...

But how much in duty/tax once it actually arrives at said door. :(

Wanna get a couple shipped to Montana? I'll drive down, grab them and then ship one to you! Sounds like getting items to the lower 48 is easy enough (aka no major duty costs) so why not go this route??

Or I just wait for Depo Racing and get theirs from 'Murica.

Decisions Decisions. Oh wait, I have no money. Damn it! Anyone wanna buy a Tundra??

*PAUSE* You live near a shop that can custom fab driveshafts and you haven't talked to them about the Fiesta?
They told me CV axles are too cheap to invest in.

So... I looked into a place 2 hours away in Ocala ( where the 1/2 mile race was ). I emailed them pIcs, offered to send them my axle and sell it on the forum for them. And... They pretty much told me the samething.

Unless your driveshaft.com and selling axles for $850, not sure we will see an upgrade.

Without wheel hop and add a good lsd, and I'm not sure they were too bad...

Too cheap? As in "we're too niche for them to make money"?

A stock set of axles cost about $350.
That's $500 more than a set of spares, and no one by my dumba$$ has broken one yet, lol.

Well.... I mean... With "engine power", lol

The intercooler is quite large. I had to do some trimming of the black plastic splash shield thingy that sits underneath the intercooler itself. I used a sonic cutting tool for this, which made it very easy. I believe mercdank didn't have this complication and managed to get it to work, however. I couldn't get the intercooler in without my trimming of that splash shield, so your mileage may vary. I might just be really bad at installing intercoolers.

MTC arrived today, surprising considering I ordered a couple days ago. The quality looks superb, especially considering the price I paid. Plan to install tonight.
I have been considering this IC. Post photos of your install if you don't mind.
