Any reason(s) you're thinking of doing more than just getting stiffer rated springs to throw on your BC coilovers? Genuinely curious, not criticizing!
They’d need to be rebuilt to accommodate new springs. I thought about it though and it’s still an option. I sort of want to try the 510s and see what the buzz is about.

Good god it’s hot today. This thing needs to be faster. I’m tired of getting passed my GT4 cup cars, Mclarens and Ferraris. I just need injectors, HPFP, 100shot of nitrous, suspension upgrades and Hoosiers 😂

Just stop hitting the brakes, you'll go faster.

How does the rear wing affect swinging the car through chicanes?

The new wing is a lot better. It’s much wider and has a deeper cord but has less drag and more downforce at 0 degrees AOA. I can actually feel less vibration and top end increased by a few mph. I can brake later/harder from 130mph to 55mph and it’s more stable. It feels more stable at higher speeds through fast off camber sweepers too. I don’t find myself having to add as many steering inputs in high speed turns as I did with the old wings.. I definitely need higher spring rates and more control over compression/rebound. And I’m seriously considering more power because I honestly think this car will hang with ridiculous cars if I tweak it a little more towards unreliability 😂

…and the GREAT thing about Stoptech ST40s is I can run cheap Stoptech Street Performance pads and experience zero fade. These brakes are definitely overkill for the Fiesta but it’s nice knowing I don’t have to think about them letting go. I still use ATE Type 200 with zero problems. Someone said it wasn’t the right fluid for this car but it works just fine for me. I suppose I have to say others should use it at their own risk. Do I really need to say that though? Lol my car and I are one big test dummy.

I always think the same but then I think how well I'm doing considering the massive difference in tire size/power and the stuff that I am passing. That makes it better but then again it could be people just not knowing how to drive.

Same here. I have yet to experience fade with factory Stoptech BBK pads

It seems like a lot of people buy high HP cars then realize they’re a handful on a racetrack and are too egotistical to admit they’re frightened by it. The Vipers, GT4, Mustangs, Camaros and Vettes I pass are all driven by drivers that are intimidated by them. What’s cool is I can destroy oldschool dream cars with FiST regardless of who’s driving them.

Seriously though, I REALLY want to build a 400whp motor and swap my suspension to something that’ll accommodate my aero. I’m convinced it could hang with store bought badasses if I upgrade a few more things. I suppose I’d need to buy a turbo like yours and maybe consider aux on top of injectors and HPFP. I remember seeing a lady with a FiST somewhere that ran straight e85 and had a shit load of power. I need to find her info again.. If I could get away without running aux, that’s what I prefer just because tuning is simpler and much less expensive. Aux has good benefits though so I’m still considering it.

Where'd you get the headlight intake?
I bought it from a guy on Instagram out of the UK years ago. Not sure if they are still around. I didn’t see an advantage running it though so save your money lol

100%. My GT350 scares the shit out of me on the track. I just find it so much easier (and much less nerve-wracking) to drive the FiST at the limit and beyond without it biting back too hard. Plus when I can get a set of tires for the price of one rear for the Mustang, it helps reaffirm my choices lol.

Same here. I never drive our other car on the track. Tires and brakes are super expensive and with its power they’d need to be replaced after each weekend. No thanks.

Few more hours on track today. I’m getting the P061A code again and my airbag light was triggered my first two sessions. Car still ran strong and I had A LOT of solo time on track. Enough to completely wear out my 215 RT660s. They held up extremely well during 25 minute sessions all day until the rear tires were cooked.. It’s time for a new set of 235s! The 215 RT660 has more grip than my 235 RT615K+ but I still love the RT615K+ durability and consistency. The RT660 grip is real though lol. Can’t wait to see how much more the wider version has.

My only pics from today and they are shit lol

My guess is that it is close enough in viscosity to the DOT 4 LV fluids that it does not cause any real functioning problems with the ABS or any of the 'nannies', not that you have to worry about that crap on track, with a superior BBK, anyway.

It is one of the highest of the street/not pure 'racing' labeled, DOT 4s in wet and dry boiling points, is one of the least hygroscopic of almost any fluid out there, and is affordable enough to not have to take out third mortgages on your home by bleeding, or flushing it out every session. Two oil changes and two brakes flushes this month alone. I buy ATE by the case lol
