Continuing my sedan ST build here from the new member post. I am not the first.

Not pictured but I began modifying the rad support. Since there was no ST in an 11 or any sedan, the rad support opening had to be enlarged, especially on the passenger (right) side. I also had to purchase a 19 ST condenser because it was wider as well as the radiator. I'm thinking of going with two 12" fans instead of the single 13" ST one. I also installed wire loom under the package shelf where I stuck the 3 wire to 2 wire trailer light converter so my sedan tail lights will work. Quite a few wires run up the driver side (left) side boot/trunk lid and they flex a lot when I close it. I need to come up with a way to run them but not have them pushing up into the bottom side of the package shelf. Finally, I'm waiting on my suede headliner and package shelf cover so I can finish the interior.

I cut the back of the upper grille out. A subtle mod.

Update on the 11 sedan project. I got the front lower bar and RR motor mount installed. I also installed the rad with two 11" slim fans wired in parallel to the fan speed module. I relocated it to a cooler area hoping this will prolong its life. I will zip tie the wires up out of the way later before I put the bumper cover on.

May I present to you, a 2011 FrankenBean ST sedan. Now let the real games begin. I need 300 hp asap. I don't want it, I need it. Yes, it's ugly and that's what will surprise a few. The only mods so far are upgraded intake, hot and cold pipes, symposer delete, mishi FMIC and AP that I haven't plugged in yet. Now that I put around 100 miles on it and no warning lights came on, it's time for big turbo. Should I also go with 30% injectors and a higher volume HPFP or go single injector with stand alone ecu/harness? There is no room for a 4 port because the fan on the pass side just clears the intake pipe by millimeters. Originally it was rubbing but I loosened the clamps on the TB and spaced it away from the fan with my prybar and then tightened the clamps. I love this bean. It now has sync3 and apple car play works great. I love streaming pandora while using the waze app. Now I can merge onto the freeway no problem and every time I look down, I'm going 80 mph or more like it's nothing.

I'm not even a fan of the fiesta sedan body and I still think that is one of the coolest swaps ever! That car is so sick! Thanks for sharing your build process with us as well!

The wheels are the only thing that betrays the whole sleeper thing.

But, it could be seen as someone just going for an upgraded wheel for aesthetics, within the whole model line choice thing.

Even when you install tires which can handle the 300 ponies you need, anyone would have to look hard to really see them, and think "oh, sleeper".

People that "know" an ST versus the plain jane sedan will notice the rear disc brakes versus drums as well. Then they may also notice the syn3 screen that shows ST and Ford Performance when it wakes up or goes to sleep. They may also notice the 6 speed and the ST on the seats if they look inside. I haven't decided to put the Recaros yet because these seats are in such good condition. The front end of my sedan looks like a catfish or bubba gump so I'm wondering if there is anything I can to do improve that other then doing a front clip swap from a real ST. That would really give it away. BTW the rear seats on an ST have the center seatbelt retractor built into the seat and the sedan is built into the rear package shelf. I just pulled the ST center seatbelt all the way out and cut it so it retracted back inside itself.

Personally I don't think that putting an ST front bumper on it destroys the sleeper concept.

I would consider myself a fiesta enthusiast and even I don't really give the sedans much thought unless I happen to notice that it's a 5 speed. The biggest thing that would jump out to me about yours is the ST rims.

VERY few are going to bother to look inside to see a manual, or ST seats/screen, and the strongest legal in Pennsyltucky tint would take care of that anyway.

The ST front bumper/clip would be cool, and REALLY confuse even an ST 'enthusiast'.

You might still be able to find body kit components from 3DCarbon for the early sedan. Could be a cool way to go! Keep the early model styling but keep pushing the custom aspect of it all.

I just checked and their website says 11-12 weeks out, ugh.

Id leave the front as is. The bumper looks right for the sedan.

Swap on some 15x8's and 225's. Lower it also with some coilovers or springs/shocks.

I have snow tires on the stock steelies for winter. What do you think about the EZ lip products?

You spent all that time and money to swap it over and want to toss on some $25 garden edging?

Lower it, throw some real meat under it and watch the function turn into form(race car form!).

Look at the b-spec race cars, they have the Fiesta sedan models with nothing more than coilovers and some wheels.....they look insanely good hunkered down over some race meat. Search for Project Jefe on google for the B-spec sedan build by Ford Muscle.

Meh ... if it was me i'd fit decent dampers and springs but leave it at stock height. You don't need to be scraping tarmac to handle well.

As it stands, I really like that and the closer you can keep it to looking just like that the only way anyone will know it's not a boggo family wagon is when it disappears down the road.

If you can shove 300bhp out of it and keep it looking standard, even better. You can always make it obviously lairy when you're bored of mugging Mustangs or when the word has got around and no one wants to play anymore
