Battery issues

Hey all. I bought a new battery last January that went bad last week. I live in Arizona so that's not as unusual as it might be in other places. I bought a Noco Genius 10 amp trickle charger to extend my new battery's life. However, the charger does not appear to be able to take my new battery all the way to full charge. It gets stuck in a "conditioning" mode. When I tested the charger on my roommate's 4-year old Toyota battery, it quickly reached full charge. This has me thinking something is drawing from the battery when the car is not running. I'm wondering if others have noted something like this and what it might be. As always, thanks in advance for any advice anyone has. There are no engine codes showing for anything electrical at the moment, nor has there ever been.

Does the battery have a sticker on it indicating what month and year it was manufactured? You probably have a valid warranty claim since you purchased it relatively recently.

The whole story: replaced the battery last Friday. Put the charger on it on Monday, noted the issue. Today I went and got an entirely new battery, still noting the issue. The guy at the auto parts store suspects there is some kind of leak in the electrical system. That's why I posted here. I guess I could try my roommate's battery in my car to see if the issue persists.

No. I have a Cobb intake and Accessport, but the AP is not currently plugged in.

I can only conceive of two possibilities. Either both batteries had at least one bad cell, or an interior light is consistently on.

Maybe make sure that the trunk is shut all the way. Sometimes mine will partially latch but not quite close all the way. Maybe it's causing the trunk light to stay on.
