I got 4 port not worried about buildup on the intake valves or cylinders. Just more the injectors. There are a couple of good Videos on screwtube but they injector scaling will have to be adjusted by a tuner*

Finally got it back from having the passenger front door and hatch replaced due to the "fiesta cancer". They noticed it on the driver side door and rear passenger door. Pointed it out to me and said I should have it added to the ticket to be covered. Anyhow IF I had to cover out of pocket this is what it cost them.

Putting the summer wheels on hopefully this weekend.
I'm assuming it's not only a daily driver, but you drove it in the PA salt and snow all winter?

I picked it up used with 17500 ish in Aug 2020. The previous owner was in NJ. Now me, I put about 1000 miles on a year, garage it in the winter and dont even drive it when its wet out. The bummer is too that I already dropped a LOT of money on ceramic coating and full front PPF which I will need to have redone. Good news is Ford is going to cover the PPF replacement.
There is like zero rust under the car. This "cancer" is the dreaded issue where the door/hatch panels rust from the inside out due to the way they were painted from factory in Mexico I assume. You can find it when you open the door and look along the inside painted areas for bubbling and wrinkling paint. Once this pain the butt process is finished I'll have 4 out of 5 new doors including the hatch.

I believe it is because of the way the sheet metal meets.. They simply folded the outer metal door panel inward and upward. The inside sheet metal panel simply rests in the bottom of that fold where the water collects and sits.

My 2019 has 17K and has never been driven in the salt or winter. I haven't looked this year, but last year it appeared to already have the tiniest bit. 2 years ago I did spray something similar to fluid film or whatever it is, into the drain holes. Because my driveway is slanted I placed paper towels at the other hole and waited for it to come out. I did the same for the rear hatch. Will it help? Time will tell.

And in goes the Cobb CARB legal 3 inch intake! I also actually installed the factory double horn because my 2018 came with a single horn. View attachment 46390
As I'm going to end up using my Cobb intake now, did you change the harness for the 14/15 or install as is for your '18? I know the kit allows for both. I have a 14/15 harness laying around, could do either way. I haven't fully figured out the hose connection for this thing yet.

Did the fuel/purge spaghetti valve today, (D8, 9047e maybe..) it's been riding in the hatch for a few weeks. There is a noticeable difference in idle and throttle quality. The whole idea comes from the idle stumble after fueling up and research after the purge tank mounting brackets failed w/ a code. I'll have to wait several weeks until I have enough gas money to see if it works!

No burps or hiccups after yesterday's less-than-full fill up, I just put $30 of 89, brings it over 1/2 tank, enough to experience the idle swing. My highly refined technical skills tell me I've picked up more than a mile or two of MPG...

Found a lot of water in my spare tire well after we had a bit of rain then snow. First time in however long I've had it that there's been water there so I'm pretty annoyed.

There's a thread on here about how to fix it. If I remember, I'll link it.
Do you have a sunroof?

Sunroofs can be a problem. I don't have one on my FiST, but on another car, I had to park facing downhill when it rained. If it was flat or (worse) uphill, the water that got past the sunroof's weatherseal would start flooding the sunroof, roof liner, etc. Luckily, my driveway had a slope.

I do and there's a small crack in the weather seal that will let water in (staining the roof liner) but it's simply never leaked that much especially not for a run of the mill storm. I'll have more time tomorrow during the day to check it out.

Thanks, I'll look into it

Not today, but dropped it off yesterday for some PPF and window tint, both XPEL. Front bumper, hood, front fenders, mirrors, A-pillars, front of the roof. Very pricey, but I think it'll be worth it.

Next up, I really need to make a thread on this car. My avatar is still even the wrong FiST! :ROFLMAO:
