Does anyone know how I could go about adding a led indicator light, that would light up to show me the aux fuel is working. I just don’t want something to happen where it fails and I’m not aware of the split second controller not getting power or something.

You should be able to run a little LED light with wiring to your power cable and ground cable for your AUX. Then when it's working, the light will be on, and if it somehow disconnects, so will the light.

I installed a light to let me know that the controller was getting power and a kill switch, in case I needed to disable the aux fuel system in case a situation needed the aux fuel system disabled. The link below is to my installation. When you do add a light. Make sure the light is in PARALLEL, not in series. If you run it in series, if the light fails, your aux fuel system will not have power.

Been thinking of getting to add the LED as well recently
It's good to know if it's on when you think about it. It's like an Aux fuel add on warning for dummies*
