what color did you get? just out of curiosity
In fairness mine is a leftover new 2015 FiST, so needless to say they were willing to give me a very good price plus a good offer on my FoST in order to get rid of it, also depends on the time of the year with the rebates and whether or not you get a rebate and the 0%, like i said I could have basically got $3,200 in rebates without the 0% but ended up being cheaper to pay more in total but with the 0%

2016 w/ Recaros, moonroof, nav
$4500 under MSRP ($2k from dealer, $2k ford rebates, $500 ford military)
No trade involved.
Took the dealer financing (2.3% for 72mo). Likely pay the car off when/shortly after my M3 sells.

I got a '16 for $50 over the dealer invoice, which was actually better than my x-plan pricing that I had in my back pocket, plus 0% for 72 mos. I was also in and out of the dealership and into my new ride in far less than 2 hours. Needless to say I have been smitten with my purchase.

^^^ was it 50 over plus 1k cash back and 72 for zero? I purchased last year x-plan for 72 at 0% no option which came to about 23k otd. What were your msrp and otd price?

Congrats. They are a blast to drive!

How does the ST compare to the GT4 and M3's you've owned? Nice Garage!

Options: sunroof, nav, black wheels w/ red calipers. No cash back because I took the 0% for 72 mos. I took my savings and applied that towards an ext warranty (I know, but between rent prices in the bay area and adding my gf to my auto ins policy, you know how it goes.) No plans to mod in the near future, going to enjoy it for what it is. Sell price was $24k, not incl ttl.

Found mine at a Ford dealer outside of Dallas on auto trader, had it listed for $17,5k was $4-5k off sticker price, '16 model in Magnetic, no sunroof, no nav, no Recaro.
I got a great trade number from the dealer on my '15 Mustang GT which also kept me from paying sales tax as the Mustang was worth more than what I was buying. I got 0% for 72 months through Ford Credit and I never had to step foot in the dealer. They delivered my new car and paperwork and took the Mustang back with them, easiest car deal I've ever done.

Any trade involved? Sales tax? That's pretty damn good if that with sales tax and no trade.

Scratched check for $17,900 and drove home in a 2016 Shadow Black FiST from Crown Ford in Fayetteville, NC. (Dealership had 10 STs on the lot and was in an aggressive mood to deal). Price of vehicle was $23,130 - $3750 Factory Incentives - $2,735 Dealer Discount = $16,645. Add 3% NC Highway Use Tax ($628) + Title/tags ($88) + Dealer Doc Fee ($539) for a grand total of $17,900. Dealership also threw in 2 additional free tanks of gas plus free first oil change and agreed to pick me up and drive me back to the dealership to get my BMW S1000R which I rode to Crown Ford the day I purchased the ST.
Notes: I had been seriously considering special-ordering a base ST but to do so I would have lost a lot of the current incentives/discounts ... Power Moonroof was my car's only option (I would have preferred not to have it but all 10 of Crown's STs were equipped with it). Kudos to Crown employees Moses Williams and Jason Gaspar for not playing games and making the deal happen.

That is an absolutely smoking deal! I came out -$4500 before TTT on my loaded 16 a couple of weeks ago and I thought that was crazy. Must be some serious hidden money on the back end from Ford to unload these 16s.

How does the ST compare to the GT4 fun factor?
To be fair...worlds apart BUT they do share similar philosophies. They are both greater than the sum of their parts as far as how they perform. I think the Fiesta ST is of course a better daily driver. The GT4 can be driven daily, don't get me wrong...it's a lot more mild than people think it is, but the ST has so much usable torque at low RPMs and practicality that I feel better daily driving it and leaving the GT4 for track duty.

I've driven both cars on tracks, but not my personal cars. I drove a 3 door Fiesta ST on the Nurburgring for an entire track day and it was an absolute blast (that's how I was sold on buying one). I think the fun per dollar winner would be the ST. The GT4 I've driven on the track where I work and it is so utterly composed and proficient.

The GT4 by far sounds better. Just can't beat an N/A flat six for sound. It looks way cooler and the build quality and interior quality are top notch. And with the GT4 I'm certain I can drive it for years and if I need to unload it I'll be able to get most if not all of my money back out. But I bought the GT4 because it is the pinnacle of everything I wanted in a car after having owned 40+ cars.

I'll have both cars on the track this fall. Taking the Fiesta ST to Atlanta Motorsports Park as it is a tighter track and the GT4 to Road Atlanta as it is more conducive to powerful cars.

Thanks I knew they were worlds apart from a performance standpoint but from fun driver car it's great to hear your praises of the ST. Randy Pobst was asked his choice between the GT4 and the 350R, he chose the R based on the slight under steer of the 4. Personally I feel the GT4 is the best drivers car Porsche makes today and have heard others say even though new 991 GT3 is faster it just does not have that magic feel of the 997GT3/RS on track.

Thanks for your comments. Enjoy both cars!

Took delivery on mine a couple weeks ago, got a killer deal on it. Someone had bought it with every option possible for 30k CAD, drove it home and brought it back the next day. Either the wife didn't approve or buddy lost his job, either way he returned the car. I got a call from my friend who works at the dealership that they offered him 23k CAD for trade in value, he desperately took it. They didn't want to deal with it because its a low volume car especially one with that many options so they let me take it for 25k CAD. So I technically bought a used car with 80 kilometers on it, so awesome.

Sounds like myopia... Sales of certain cars, especially performance cars are very regional. Both Focus ST an Fiesta ST sell well in California, so dealers don't budge often on price.

I had to make them match a dealer out of state to get the deal I got on my Focus ST which was $24,800 on an MSRP of $29985 after all discounts.

Also I had to find a ST2 in Race Red which is harder than you think it is. 99% of dealers have a Black or Metallic which I didn't want. I ended up calling Ford for a locate, I bought my car 77 miles away in Santa Barbra, CA: which was one of FOUR in the state and one of two with moon roof.
