FWIW, I never had a car with LSD in it and decided to get one even just to see how it feels to drive with it. I feel like I can still enjoy it on the street taking an occasional corner with it without being a total jackass, but just don't expect it to be a... relentless experience.
Now, autocross, on the other hand... It's a bit of a shame you didn't get a chance to try competing with the car as-is. You'd realize just how much you had to just sort of hang in there and wait for the car to turn before giving it any more power. With LSD, you tell the car to go around and it just... goes around! It can now be the same kind of excited puppy both in a straight line and in a turn, if that makes any sense. It's definitely one of those "should've been like this from the factory" moments.
