On topic though, My car has hit the five year mark and are looking to exchange the coolant. Having looked over the manual, there essentially three different valves in the cooling system. (it's pretty interesting actually) Bottom line though, it may be impossible to get any significant portion of this coolant out in a single shot without spending a couple of thousand on a coolant exchange machine. I dislike the idea of uncoupling that bottom radiator hose multiple times as I progressively exchange the coolant from orange to yellow. Has anyone sought out or installed a petcock of sorts, for that lower radiator hose?

There are PLENTY of sites/'outlets' out there where one can rant and rave about their given 'cause', or political viewpoints all effing day and night long, incessantly, and get all of the 'attabois' they need/want from all of the other like-mined members/posters on said sites.

WHY is it so impossible, and difficult to keep this as a site where we all share a love for this, and maybe other cars, and their upkeep/modifications, and not allow the compulsive vitriol, and animus which political discourse MUST inevitably bring about in these given times into those disagreements??

People on here already hate on each other enough merely from tuner, or other car issue battles, do we really need even more loathing of each other yet on here?

Are they plug N play? I wanted to upgrade them but the audio guy told me their in a special housing and only 1 manufactured made a direct fitment "Upgrade" but couldn't assure me they would be better.

I think they are if you don't power them with a amp. Crutchfield.com sent some mounting rings with the speakers. So hopefully it's not too far off from plug and play.

2008/2009, 87 hit over $4.00 a gallon in Louisiana, and the dollar was worth more at that time.

I remember dealerships tried to sell SUVs and trucks by offering a deal where gas prices would be capped at $2.50 for a year. Don’t remember how that would work…

I remember I had a 96 Ford escort at the time. Gas was over $4 a gallon in North Carolina for 87. I can get 87 for under $3 a gallon right now. My car gets 93.

Amazing to me how that car got 40mpg and decades later we’re still struggling to meet those numbers.

Yep the escort had 88 horsepower and it was a tin can. Sheetz has E15, 88 for $2.69.
I will never understand why people buy gas guzzlers when gas is cheap, do they not think of the future I sure do. Almost everybody around me drives a suburban, or something of the same size.

Buying gas in CA at $4.30 a gallon. Using the CPI calculator... it's almost the same as when I bought gas in 1978 for $1.00. Perspective & knowledge is everything.
