Had that JDM 97' Suzuki RGV250, v-twin, two-stroke, dry-clutch, Lucky-Strike livery motorcycle 98'-02'. Had it CA registered, street-legal . Oh, the buzz-saw barrrraap of a multi-cylinder two-stroke! Glorious!
It was superseded with a 00' R1 which I still have today. (Though I haven't ridden it since owning the FiST in 15'...)
Ran up Latigo today, it was super clean and quiet up there. And it was especially nice now that my car is stock and quiet with the stock muffler. No one or cops in the distance can hear me bombing around. Put the car through some work and she did great. On the stock radiator with 180 thermostat it was noticeably hotter than with the Mishimoto radiator 😂 peak temps were 240deg f oil and 226 deg f coolant. Car is running Cobb Stage 0 tune, hence low boost peak number. Just getting the car ready for CA smog check. All necessary I/M sensor status’s are ready 👍
