Hey guys!

Has anyone ordered this manifold? How long did it take for shipping. What was the total cost? Did you notice considerable performance gains or quicker spool?

Thanks in advance!

…or you can email Pumaspeed and ask them which one they recommend for the X47r. It’s a similar turbo.

TBH you would most likely be better running Whooshs OEM exhaust manifold that has been honed and polished.

I did consider getting that one but I also wanted the tubular manifold for the change in exhaust note if makes. Then to also be able to run a x57 in the future (next year)

I though the whoosh Hybrid was the x47 type not the x47r. Is it really more like the X47r?

Ask RocketST about the X57....he will tell you all about them. You will not really notice an exhaust note difference TBH. If you haven't done exhaust yet ...that will yield the best tone change and I suggest Thermal if you havent*

Right now I have the 2JR side exit exhaust and it's dope. I've seen some youtubers that have the QS manny and the said the tone gets deeper which is what I'd really like.

I'm also considering the Airtec on Ron's site but not sure what the difference is.

I'm running an Airtec with a S280. Not sure how much of an audible difference or performance difference it makes but I fell victim to "while I'm in there...."

Plus your supporting a local vendor...not some Bloak across the pond with piss poor customer service*

I thought it was between the two but honesty I have no idea. I forgot what Ron told me. All three max out stock fuel though and I doubt the manifold is gonna benefit you. Spool is already quick.

That's why I'm ordering the DNA arms so I can install them with the coils. LoL

I had an airtec. It definitely made the exhaust tone different but can’t really quantify by how much. It‘s a quality piece. Can’t say for the pumaspeed.
Yeah I'll take any change in tone I can get. (mostly to be a bit different from most) I mean there has to be some kind of gain in power, if not why would they even make the manifold. I'll be getting the car dynoed after adding and post on my other thread so we have the numbers. Plus even 300-400RPM sooner is worth it to me. I love how the FiST has V8 like power down low in the RPM range.

Did you notice quicker spool with it?

Did you notice quicker spool at all?
