Ordered a set of Euro headlights. The plan is to retrofit them with better HID projectors and paint the inner plastics. I'm going for this look here.

My current retrofit might be up for sale eventually.

Yeah its much better. I'm sure I have pics of it on this thread somewhere. I bought the retrofit from someone else so the quality isn't 100% in terms of look but it is much better then stock in terms of output.


Ordered the Euro's Saturday night and got a tracking number this morning so hopefully see them soon.

Got my headlights in today. Packaged really well! They made sure to put hard cardboard protectors around the tabs. The LED DRLs are VERY bright. I'm going to retrofit these but wanted to test the LEDs and everything to make sure they worked before I did anything. I will be wiring these up to be a true DRL whenever the car is on and not to only be on when the parking lights are on.

I ran to the auto parts store to get some cheap H7 bulbs because I forgot they didn't come with bulbs. I already got some LED turn signals prior to getting these headlights and oh boy are those very bright too. The output of the actual low beam actually isn't that bad all things considered but obviously will be better with a retrofit. Also wanted to make sure none of my manual adjustment pistons were broken so I went ahead and adjusted them too, all good!

Did you grab Depo or Hellas? How long did it take to receive from order date? I ordered some hellas on the 16th, probably be another 11 days until they are expected to ship.

Oh and show us a pic of how you run the wire for the DRL over to the passenger side. I'd be interested to see havent thought it through yet myself.

I currently just repinned the connector to have it on when the parking lots are on just to test them but I will once I get my retrofit done to do the permanent DRL

I ordered the DEPO lights on Sept 11th, shipped out two days later and got here yesterday

Yeah those showed in stock. I have the pins, add a fuse and I think I got 16 gauge wire thats insulated for engine bays. Also ordered Tech max mini gen 1 in H7. I figured their H11's worked well in the reflector housings why not. I look forward to seeing your finished product. It will no doubt aid me in mine as well....Im not the greatest at working on cars I'm finding out lol.

Ordered 4TL-R projectors, butyl, H7 relay harness, XB35 ballasts, some goretex patches, velcro patches, and some Osram D2S 66240 bulbs

Added a little something. Don't think it looks too bad. The blue matches my inlays and blue theme perfectly so that's cool

You should do Halos in there also that are sequential with headlights and turn signals. I had it done in mine and it looks great!

I'll be finally starting my retro this weekend. You still interested? Whenever I'm done I have you as my first contact for my old retro.

I'm not much of a halo person, its too flashy sometimes for my taste. I do have bright LED turn signals though, even brighter then my current ones since the Euro headlights are just a straight turn signal, not a running light as well.

Installed AWRs passenger and driver side motor mounts. Chose the 70a durometer. Was a little unbearable at first but I'm used to the vibes from them now. Not too bad.

Also, got around to making my OCC hoses not look like shit and wrapped them in blue/black braided sleeves.

Also found these mats from a member in the FiST Facebook page. I dig the look and they fit perfectly and the blue matches. Got them from amazon
