What did you do to your Fiesta ST today ?

Strongly considering upgrading my taillights for the spec d leds. Do you have any pictures directly from the back with them on and with brakes engaged? Interested to see how they look from the bake and how much brighter they are. Car is very clean btw. 👍

I was disappointed with the brightness of my spec-d taillights. The turn signals are especially weak.

Finally pulled the trigger on a whoosh hybrid just now. While it wont get installed until next spring, this will give me some time to see if I want to do a ported mani and milltek dp to go with it as planned, however its been suggested those two items arent as big a deal with a hybrid. I am also going to do a little research into which wastegate to grab. I'm leaning Tune +.

I'm currently tuning the Whoosh hybrid that I bought used. I have the 11 psi Turbosmart and the GFB DV+. I also have stock manifold and downpipe. I'm only on my second revision of the tune but the results are promising.

I use GTechniq C5 Wheel Armor. One bottle is enough to do two coatings on four 17" wheels including the barrels.

Application is simple. You receive the applicators in the box along with nitrile gloves. Which you will want to wear. Apply in a well ventilated area. You can do the face of the wheel, then the barrels. Then remove. You will need a couple of microfiber towels for the removal.

I would also suggest washing the wheels first and then wiping them down with Eraser, GTechniq Panel Wipe, or an isopropyl alcohol.

I have my OZ Superturismos coated, the wheels and calipers on my GT4, and the wheels on the Cayman T. By far, the Fiesta has the most mileage on the wheels and they take the biggest beating. The coating has held up very well.

There are other products and you could apply a standard nano coating. Wheels coatings are typically designed to handle the heat more effectively.

Got my new accesport and Dizzy stage 2 back on

After 4 months of driving around with a hole in my roof after my sunroof broke on a canyon drive, finally got around to fixing it permanently with a aluminum panel, some rivets and adhesive. Scary drilling holes in the roof, the inner sunroof reinforcement is annoying to deal with as well, there were a couple holes I had to redrill due to hitting metal that was too thick.

Also did my Coolerworx shifter, only issue I had was muscling it into position once the shifter cables had been attached. Haven't taken it for spin yet (adhesive on the roof is still setting) but looking forward to doing so tomorrow and beating on the car at Chuckwalla this weekend.

Yeah I removed it all, glass, motor, rails, headliner. Unfortunately don't have those components anymore to weigh them, it honestly didn't weigh that much. I'd estimate total of components being around 40 lbs? But anything helps in the quest for lightness.

Technically the car I 'bought' didn't have the sunroof, the only option I wanted was the black wheels. But I bought it sight unseen from the sister dealership of my local dealer, and they were gonna bring it north for me to take delivery. I get a call from them an hour later saying 'hey somebody was buying that car down in the other dealer right as we were signing papers, but we have this other one that's the same spec but has sunroof and nav and we'll honor the same price." So I couldn't really say no to that. And there were times I enjoyed having the sunroof, but it was always the ultimate plan to delete it.

40 lbs up high is a lot for roll center.

Sunroofs are, unfortunately, a huge liability all around. Water intrusion, mechanical failures, human ejectors, etc.

If I keep this long term I'll seriously consider doing the same thing.

I ordered the Mountune Triple Pass Radiator back in late June and it finally arrived today from backorder! And just in time for Fall! .....though to be fair it is still hot as hell down in Phoenix so I will get to put it to the test before it gets cold here!

It really is a shame that this is completely hidden once installed, it's functional art!

I disagree, I think they're just fine!

I had the smoked gray version. Night time brightness was fine, but day time, especially with bright sun light was a different story.

Glad you like them though. They do look nice on the car.
