Mostly just don't want to talk shit or seem like I am shit talking without knowing the specifics as to why the failure occurred.
We had bought a second S280 for our other daily driver in the house, so that is on its way and will be replacing this turbo. The daily will wait until we get this one back or we will just sell it and keep it stock turbo. We will have to pay the shipping to return the unit to TT, we have not been assured that any of the repairs necessary will be covered under any kind of implied or expressed warranty. I am not assuming that TT will cover this damage at all since it had a Tune+ spec WGA (I wonder who it was tuned by) attached at the time of failure and we do not intend to try and hide that fact. All TT has told us to do is send the unit back to them and after that we will move along with if it is warranty or not.
